In the play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, the character who is most responsible to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is the Nurse because she was like the middle man, she told Juliet about Romeo’s banishment, and she never told Juliet’s parents about Romeo. There are many reasons why the nurse is to be blamed about Romeo and Juliet’s death. In act 1 scene 1, the Nurse goes and tells Romeo that Juliet will marry him. If she had just stayed out of all of that, Juliet might still have been alive. Instead, the Nurse does tell Romeo and that leads to there marriage.
