The Ku Klux Klan killed many people because they felt threatened.The Ku Klux Klan also known as the KKK was founded in 1860 and took over mostly all southern states near 1870. The members had an under ground work on violence and intimidation mostly for black and white republican leaders.In the 1960s the civil rights movement saw the Ku Klux Klans activity. They had bombed black churches and black schools. The KKK had been really violent towards blacks.
