The Person I Interviewed For This Project

The person I interviewed for this project was a female named Barb who is 65 years old. This woman is about 6’0 in height and has a slender body type. Also, she has thick curly brown hair and wears glasses. Barb comes from a fully German background because both of her parents originally immigrated to the United States from Germany. Barb has 4 children which consist of two sons and two daughters. Also, Barb has 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Barb is currently married and she has been married to her husband for 49 years. Furthermore, Barb currently resides at her home in Minnesota with her husband. Physical Process During this interview the first question I asked Barb was if she felt as old as her age is and in which ways that she does and doesn’t. Barb response was that she does not feel her age at all. Barb stated, “physically I feel as though I am still 20 years old.” I asked Barb, “Has your sleeping time changed as you have aged?” Barb replied, “No I still go to bed at the same time, however sometimes during the night I will suddenly just wake up out of a deep sleep.” Therefore, Barb’s response about her sleeping patterns is fairly normal for her age because in our textbook it explains how middle aged people sometimes experience waking up in the middle of the night. I asked Barb, “what was menopause like for you?” Barb stated, “Menopause was really not hard for me and the only thing I experienced physically were hot flashes.” In our textbook it explains how
