Economic Singapore’s economic factors is developing at a fast pace as a vibrantly free market economy. Singapore’s per capita income is the highest in ASEAN and are also encouraging new entrepreneurs and franchises to set up their bases here.

Social Singaporeans tends to have a busier life style as compared to others and thus they’re opting for healthy yet fast food. Healthy living are rising as a trend.

In the US, Mcdonalds is having 3 times the amount of sales than Subway despite having lesser outlets.

In terms of IT, other competitors are adopting much more technological strategies. For example, Mcdonalds have their own self service ordering kiosk and also valued added self service customise your own burger kiosk. KFC and PizzaHut have their own website ordering delivering and a mobile application. Having only the VisapayWave might not be attract to capture some customers over.

7 Recommendations
I would strongly recommend SUBWAY to adopt more technological strategies to attract a bigger group of customers. SUBWAY could also come out with more menus with more varieties. SUBWAY could implement a self ordering and a self payment kiosks and placed them near to a small counter that specifically targets at the collection of subs for self ordering and payment only. SUBWAY Singapore could also have this little mobile application/ website that allows customers to pre order their subs and paying online before going to their nearest subway to collect it/ arrange a delivery for
