In terms of IT, other competitors are adopting much more technological strategies. For example, Mcdonalds have their own self service ordering kiosk and also valued added self service customise your own burger kiosk. KFC and PizzaHut have their own website ordering delivering and a mobile application. Having only the VisapayWave might not be attract to capture some customers over.
7 Recommendations
I would strongly recommend SUBWAY to adopt more technological strategies to attract a bigger group of customers. SUBWAY could also come out with more menus with more varieties. SUBWAY could implement a self ordering and a self payment kiosks and placed them near to a small counter that specifically targets at the collection of subs for self ordering and payment only. SUBWAY Singapore could also have this little mobile application/ website that allows customers to pre order their subs and paying online before going to their nearest subway to collect it/ arrange a delivery for
