REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE AND STUDIES
Violation can be defined in a variety of way. Macionis (2010) defined violation as a conscious deviation from standard social practices. Merriam Webster in the same manner stated that violations are an act of infringement and/ or the breach of duty or law. In accordance with violations, reprimanding must be understood too. Hirby (2010), described reprimanding in a hierarchical model, according to him, a higher governing body shall administer the reprimand. To Bouvier (2009), it is a punishment. The contempt, which in some cases a public officer, pronounces against an offender.
According to Johnston(2000), and Lamdin(1996) research, examines a variables and its relationship to student development: school wide student attendance. A variable that is often ignored as an interesting but meaningless statistic. However, the positive side of good school attendance on academic development may be greater than historically thought. King (2000) cited attendance as one of the academic performance variables. Along with high school and college, attendance is considered important for cognitive and behavioral development. According to Kube and Ratigan (1992), student absences from school go beyond personal illness or death of a family member.
