The girl said something, and Blur decided to not pay attention to her at all. Blur knew that she must stop at some point, but when she looked back at the girl, she was still next to her, and her mouth was moving. Blur stood up and walked away. She couldn’t risk her seeing how her words slurred and how she never was startled by clanging and screaming. Her mother told her that she couldn’t ever get too close to someone because of how dangerous it was. She hated how she couldn’t hear. She wanted to talk to the girl, but she just couldn’t She couldn’t ever. For her own safety, of course. She wished she could so terribly though. Blur went to the room she and the other girls she lived with stayed, and she sat on the bed. She tried not to cry, tried not to think about how that girl was feeling sad and how she was feeling hurt by what she had done, but she couldn’t help it.
