Amir’s mother, Sofia, dies in childbirth; Amir inherits her love of literature and probably her looks to some extent, but, her being dead, never receives any motherly love or guidance, which could have helped him out of the cowardly hole he later digs himself into. The Film, ‘The Prince of Egypt’ is a not a very accurate copy when compared to the story of exodus from the Bible. The 1998 Dreamworks production ‘The Prince of Egypt’ was created to follow the remarkable story of Moses, Leading his people from slavery but was changed by the directors to give it some originality. The setting, the characters and the storylines are some of the things that have been changed in the animated story. Therefore the Dreamworks Pictures film is inaccurate and does not flow along the same page as the Biblical story of Exodus.

The directors clearly changed the film, so the audience can infer information and excite the audience. The main mishaps are in the setting, the characters and the storyline. Clearly, this account of the story of Moses, is inaccurate in comparison to the biblical account of Exodus.

In 6th century BCE the Persian Empire was the main empire dominating most of the Mediterranean Sea. It ran from part of modern Afghanistan and Pakistan in to modern day Turkey and portions of Northern Greece. The Persian Empire was a strict state with powerful kings ruling over the massive empire. The empire ruled over a vast ethnic group and proved to have success in diversity, especially with Jews, whose history have been well documented with the Persian Empire.

The Persian Wars, involving Persia and Greece, occurred in 480 and 490 BCE. Persia invaded Greece as she tried to expand her land into their territory. King Darius had already led Persia to gradually expand into Europe with Iona, Macedonia, and Thrace in her possession. The next place on King Darius’ list was Athens and the remainder of Greece.

After declaring independence and then quickly absorbing the Medes, Cyrus went on to conquer Asia Minor (Turkey) including the conquest of the Asiatic Greeks on the western coast of Turkey.
