The Process Of Becoming A Writer

From writing thoughtful poems to research papers, I have experienced composing a diverse portfolio of literary analysis and criticisms throughout the school year. I started out the year writing minimally. By the end of the year, I noticed I was able to express my ideas and thoughts in a more clear and concise way on paper. Ultimately, each composition allowed me to widen my horizons as a writer and see how I could improve as a writer.

In the actual sense of the word to be a writer would mean anyone who has ever written before. Although I do not believe that definition is a true representation of the word. A writer is much more than that. To me, a writer is someone who writes for fun. Which could also be done professionally if they have a passion for writing. This writing could be of any genre. It could range from research to fiction. Also, the end result does not need to be anything significant. To be a writer you do not need to have published works. Writing in a journal, in my mind, would qualify you to carry the persona of a writer. The writing does not necessarily need to be long either. It could be as simple as a three lined poem, or as complicated as a textbook or novel.

Mostly I will talk about my own experiences with writing, I probably won't use any source because I don't you need to. I first to start things off with defining key terms like audience, genre , purpose and context . I will tell why each one of them is important to writing. Then I give detailed reasons why you, should you use them and what will happen if you don’t. I want to make a sure appeal to everyone with this essay . I will give you my thoughts on what makes a good writing piece and give detailed steps that each writer should take when they write. I want to make it clear that everyone mistakes that there no such thing as a perfect writer. I want to become a writer when I was a small girl. I have learned that if I want to turn the writer, I need the qualities such as observation, patience, discipline and the love of writing. I would like to become an author because I am passionate about the validity of books. Novels are educational tools disguised as entertaining stories. Stories provide a template for people to divulge into a world unfamiliar to their own and learn from them. Moral, emotional, and interactive lessons can be learned from novels, not to mention the good it does to tear eyes away from screens. People learn from worlds created by another while also finding an escape from the harsh reality they live. I would be lucky to help someone learn and escape at the same time.
