Corrissa Proctor’s Goals essay
Goals are a part of everyday life. From gaining the strength to get out of bed in the morning to winning that blue medal around your neck, everybody has made a goal once in their life. Sometimes it can be as easy as saying you’re not going to eat that last cupcake on the platter in front of you or as hard as saying “Hello” to that special someone in your life that you find adorable, either way you have made a goal. It’s also important to remember there is short term goals and long term goals. Short term goals are easier to achieve and can be very helpful in leading up to your long term goals. We can even classify our goals into personal goals, academic goals, and professional goals, as well as others.
Whether we like to believe it goals play an important part in our lives. They keep us on track with what we want to accomplish in life. Some of my biggest goals were made as a child and others where just by surprise. However now I have much different goals set for myself. I have three main goals that can be separated into a personal, professional, and academic area. A personal goal is to become a great runner and roll model. A professional goal of mine is to become a nurse to help others in need and finally, my academic goal is to get a 3.5 GPA and graduate college. All these goals can be accomplished with hard work and dedication just like any other goal in life. We all want to strive for the best and sometimes we need smaller goals to help
“Beginning with the reign of Constantine I and the establishment of the Byzantine Empire, the Eastern Christian church became a tool of the Emperors. Byzantine Emperors and Empresses played a dominant role in the Eastern church and used the Christian religion to strengthen the Empire internally, to spread Byzantine cultural and political influence, and at times, to fortify their own power”
During my life I have had many goals. Those include short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals. My short term goal would be having a good school soccer season. In order to follow through with my goal I will need to practice hard everyday. The more you practice the better you get. Practicing helps with endurance, strength, stamina, etc. Another thing I will need to do to complete my goal would be to stay hydrated. Staying hydrated eliminates heat exhaustion, cramping in the muscles, and
Goals, goals, goals they're what people think about and how they are going to achieve them in the future. My three goal in life are to get in the college of my choice, go skydiving and to get a well paying job. These three goals are important to me because they are what I am likely to achieve within the next ten years. As I grow and blossom into someone big, someone bigger than who I am today I don’t mean just physically but bigger intellectually, and more capable. These goals show me that if I want to achieve them, then I have to work hard to accomplish them.
As one well knows, it is easy to make goals, but it takes a greater determination and effort to reach them.

Everyone has goals and desires in life. We all fantasize them and think about how our lives would be different if we actually achieved them. But, not everyone is putting in effort so they can get to where they want to be. Mark Drake is someone who grew up not having much. Growing up he had people tell him he wouldn’t make it. He worked hard, stayed committed and proved those people wrong. With that being said, setting goals early in life and working towards them can help you a lot later on in the future. O O Although, some may argue that there are too many obstacles to achieving a goal, taking small steps, having patience, and being consistant can help you eventually reach your goal no
As the time goes by it is important to have a short-term and long-term goals to make sure to reach them.
Goals are what individuals aim for in their lives to achieve a desired result. Goals can be short, intermediate or long term. Short term goals are pursued quickly and can span from a few days to a week. Interminate goals require effort and are achieved over a few weeks to a month. Long term goals require the most effort and hold the most value.
Goal setting will always be important in life. What matters more is the process on how you will complete those goals. People should make plans that they can stick to so they can complete their goals more efficiently. I will get and A in ELA 2. I will be able to squat 410 by the end of the year. I will be a Private Investigator some time in my life. I just have to focus on the process and how I will get
Goals are a great way to plan your future, what you want to do or be when you grow up, if you want to go to college and what college, and how you would get there and accomplish these goals from where you are right now.
Life goals are something to cling on and can be defined as end goals of our life. Without it we are living a life without any clear direction or focus. As per what Earl Nightingale said, “People with goals succeed because they know where they are going… It’s as simple as that.”
Goals All throughout life, from the moment you were born, you’ve had goals. Goals are made to push the mind into accomplishing certain tasks that don’t deem possible. From taking your first staggering steps into the open arms of mommy and daddy to years later stumbling across that bright-lighted stage, hands trembling, reaching for that earned diploma. Every task done is a goal that had to be reached.
The reason many personal development coaches stress the importance of setting goals is that of being mindful. We are born to the world and find a pretty much straight path through life. First learn, then earn, then get married, have kids and retire. Though we all generally follow the same pattern, life offers us much more to
Setting goals is the most important thing you can do in your life. Without goal's you are going to have no direction, no ambition to be successful, no drive to stay in school, and trouble finding a career that will provide for you. Without these three things, achieving your goals is going to be one of the toughest tasks in the years to come.
