There are alot of pros and cons in considering which route a counselor pursues to establish in deciding to start a private practice or reside to practice in a facility agency setting. I believe that private practice has a lot more T's to cross considering it has a little more room to make mistakes and must take the necessary precautions to ensure adheres to the minimum standards to continue practicing (ACA, 2014). In the private practice the couselor has to initiate their own marketing skills as in the agency setting marketing is are ready established and connected to the community. a private practice could start a resource and referral progam system uniting private practices and agency's together as a unit. This would also include the best researchers combined with attorneys and ethical team of experts united to the the implemetation competency and establishment for the betterment of human beings and their success in the world of Mental-Health and connected helping services. This could also lead to misinterpretation or overstepping boundaries in your field of study and result into a domino effect of a variety of lawsuits. The counselor must be consistent and incorparate the ongoing continuance of education of knowledge and research. Also, in the private practice counselor must be knowledgable (expert) of starting a business (Mitchel, 2016). In other words, long and consuming hours consumes the counselor which eventualy begs for committments of complete involvement into the practice of business and counseling. This can lead to a quick burnout, if self-care is not incorporated (ACA, 2016). therefore, deciding weather to practice in a private or agency setting one must consider all aspects of articulaing the pros and use creative imagination and reconstruction of
