The human brain is one of the most important organs in your body. A lot of research has been done on it and there are many things that still remain a mystery. The mind gives us the capability to think and act; without it we would not be able to function. The mind is so advanced that it can rewire itself and adapt to new situations. This paper will explore and discuss the film Girl Interrupted (1996) by exploring the psychological disorder of depression. One can have too much of one chemical and not enough of the other which causes an unbalance in the brain.
