Are Romeo and Julie a “love” relationship or is it a best friend kind of relationship? Love is someone will fight to stay with you, someone who will go above and beyond for you, they will love you for who you are not wh they want you to be, they will do everything in their power to make you happy and they won't complain about it, yes there is supposed to be disagreements and arguments, but if you have nothing nice to say to them than I don't think yall should be together. Yes, I think that Romeo and Juliet are in love because, Romeo is so “in love” with Juliet but, they will do about;y anything to be together. In Act 2, Scene 2 Romeo says “But, soft! WHat light through yonder window breaks? It is the East, and Juliet is the light of the
Romeo and Juliet's love is a mix between passionate, obsessive and romantic love. “But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon, Who is already sick and pale with grief, That thou her maid art far more fair than she. Be not her maid, since she is envious. Her vestal livery is but sick and green
Romeo and Juliet, a tragic play written by William Shakespeare, manifests the idea that love supersedes hatred. The playwright evidently enforces the prominence of love though the relationship of Romeo and Juliet, despite their families’ feud. Additionally, Shakespeare uses Juliet’s nurse to demonstrate the prominence of love, despite the hatred of lower social class by the upper class. Moreover, the predominance of love over hatred is displayed through characters, Lord Capulet and Lord Montague, when they unite in sorrow. When analysing Romeo and Juliet it becomes apparent that while the two main characters’ lives were said to be predetermined by fate, it is Romeo's deep love for Juliet that acts as the catalyst that sets his fate into motion. Although Romeo stated, “with love's light wings did I o’erperch these walls”( 2.2.73-75). This would prove that know matter what happens romeo will always go after Juliet/love Juliet. Romeo’s love for Juliet in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet becomes so powerful and necessary that him and his lover would choose to end their own lives if it meant they could be with each other forever. With the deaths in either household, they are able to end the feud, and with it, the hate between each other because of the love Romeo and Juliet shared. “O brother Montague, give me thy hand./ This is my daughter’s jointure, for no more/ can I demand/... As rich shall Romeo’s by his lady’s lie-/poor sacrifices of our enmity!”
In Romeo and Juliet , Romeo seems to be having a rough time whether it be through tough love , friendship, or disputes throughout the story. Luckily the theme of the story Romeo has a pack of friends and love to help him through his hardships throughout the story , and without them he probably would not be in the story. They all help him in multiple ways (theme) by stopping him from killing himself all the way through getting him over Rosaline whom was his old love. They all have an important link in helping and supporting Romeo which seems to be the theme through all the hard times he has been going through, and play a significant role for Romeo and Juliet being in love and being together. Now who are these friends ?
In the story Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare portrays Romeo as an emotional, love-struck teenager who cannot keep his emotions in check. Often times, his mood will be very negative based on a situation that has recently occurred with a woman. He can go from happy to emotional in seconds, based on something he is thinking about or something someone says to him about the topic of love. Through similes, allusions, and imagery, Shakespeare shows that Romeo and Friar Lawrence have a close-knit, father-son-like relationship that both of the men take very dearly to their hearts. “It is the East, and Juliet is the sun” (Act 2, Scene 2).
Love is the only force strong enough to keep us doing what we're not supposed to do. In the play, “Romeo and Juliet” by Shakespeare, two lovers, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, fall deeply in love with each other but they are forbidden to be together because their families are rivals. They strive to find ways to be together in secret, but in a terrible twist of fate, Romeo mistakenly thinks Juliet is dead and kills himself. Then when Juliet sees Romeo is dead upon her awakening from the effects of a potion, she kills herself too. In the myth, “Pyramus and Thisbe” by Ovid, two neighbors are strongly in love and want to marry, but it was forbidden, so they constantly talked through a crack between their houses.
In William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Juliet's changing feelings for Romeo after killing Tybalt show that she has trouble deciding whether to be on her family's side or her husband's side. After Juliet learns that Romeo had killed her cousin, she goes back and forth between staying loyal to her beloved Tybalt, or to her husband that she hadn't known very well. She says to herself, "But wherefore, villain, didst thou kill my cousin? / That villain cousin would have killed my husband " (Shakespeare 3.2.100-101). Juliet seems to love them both, but she is a Capulet and she wants to be on her family's side; however, she loves Romeo and wants to be on his side as well.
Many teens experience love throughout their lives. As people share these feelings they develop throughout different phases and times. With love comes three different phases being attraction, closeness, and commitment. Attraction is being physically attracted to someone, closeness is the desire to create bonds with someone, and commitment is giving yourself up for someone. These phases affect how you feel towards someone at some point in time and usually you become more involved as you progress through the stages.
I feel that everyone sometime in life need help or a little in encourages. When other people encourages people to do different things such as I gave them support or to give some else advice to do different things. As in the book Romeo and Juliet Benvolio will be the person that encourage Romeo to go to the party and meet other beautiful women.without benvolio's help, romeo eand juliet would mot be together.
Was it true love, because they did everything they could to be together; or was it young love, because they were all about passion and living in the moment? Romeo is in love with the idea of love, and hopes that the “love” between him and Juliet can reverse the “hate” between the Capulets and the Montagues. When he expresses
Romeo and Juliet’s relationship is a true love story. Their marriage can either go good or bad by breaking the family feud between the Montagues and Capulets. When they get married there's a possible chance of the family’s getting along because they now have a reason to be together all the time. Or will one of the family’s not approve of this marriage because of what happens later on in act three. Neither family will overcome their feud that has lasted centuries. So maybe their relationship can be wise, but ultimately, it’s somewhat in between.
In Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet, it explores the relationship between two teen lovers that fall together and can’t be apart. They grow to love and care for each other and forget about the dangers. If they got caught their parents would likely be very disappointed that these two are together. We have just finished reading this play in our english class and it demonstrated the way things have changed from then to current times. As represented by arranged marriages.
Before Romeo met Juliet that night at the party he believed he had known romantic love. He believed he was in love with Rosaline a, girl who had left to become a nun. Romeo believed he was heartbroken and his friends wanted to get him to be happy again although going to the party Romeo is still hesitant. “I fear, too early; for my mind misgives… Yet hanging in the stars… with this night’s revels and expire the term of a despised life” (1.4.110). Romeo believed that something would go wrong if they went to the party it would be the start of something that would end his life.
