The title of the “The Road Not Taken” tells the reader immediately about the subject of the book. A man, Robert Frost, is walking down a road and the road splits into two. The man is sorry that he cannot walk down both roads and promises that he will walk down the other road another day. The setting of this poem takes place in a forest around the time of a forest. The road is most likely to be more of a path because this poem was written when cars were only first becoming popular. The man walking on the road looks as far as he can down one of the two roads. The poem states that he can not see to where it leads because of the trees and plants in the way. The man then looks down the other road and the grass seems to be untouched. He then states
