Out for her nightly stroll Mushy discovered some heinous men robbing the bank. After making a phone call to the authorities from a pay phone she positioned herself in the doorway to the bank. As the men were attempting leave she let the spit fly. She spit on the shoes of the men attempting to leave as well as the bags of money they were taking. The spit happened so fast no one saw it, both the shoes and the money bags became extremely heavy. Mushy has an amazing ability, her spit can manipulate mass and increase gravity for a short period of time on objects it lands on. Mushy is then able to disappear into the night while the police show up and take care of things from there. This is Newtons Second Law, the force of the object is equal to its mass multiplied by its acceleration. How did Mushy become Mushy and end up with this odd ability? Well, Girls will be girls, hanging out chewing gum, drinking soda, laughing, and having fun. One day though, crazy Michelle decided to see how many Jolt sodas she could drink and how many pieces of Jolt gum she …show more content…
Depending on the way she maneuvers her tongue she can control what her magical spit can do. First, if she forms a tube with her tongue and spits, the spit has the ability to land on an object and cause a decrease in the gravitational force on the item. Next, she can arch and flick her tongue a special way to manipulate the spit to spin so fast you do not see it coming. This causes whatever the spit touches to have an increase the gravitational force. In physics, mass is simply locked up energy. This is called inertial mass. Inertial mass is the amount of resistance that a physical object has to any change in its motion. The super hero arches her tongue then changes the motion of the spit. As the spit increases in speed so does the amount of energy and heat that it has. This magical spit has sped up so much and has approached the speed of light and landed on an
In the world of Ralph Bradburry’s “heit 451”, censorship reigns supreme and deep thoughts are suppressed, specific stories echo messages that serve as warnings of the consequences of a society without intellectual freedom and human connection. In Fahrenheit 451 there is a group of people that memorize these books to teach humanity in their time of need. Some stories I believe are important to memorize are the movie “The Truman Show”, the book “Plato’s Apology”, and the show “The Last of Us”. Each one of these stories offer unique insights into human nature and the dangers of a dystopian society. One story I believe is important to carry on is the movie “The Truman Show” directed by Peter Weir.
One day harriet was sent to a canned goods store for supplies and had seen a man who left the property without permission. The overseers demanded her to obtain him. She refused and let him run away therefore they threw a two pound weight at the mans head. But hit her instead, breaking her
For example, when the car had 3 weights on it and weighed 1,457.9 grams, the average acceleration was 0.4116 m/s². When the car did not have any weights on it and weighed 653.7 grams, the average acceleration was 0.8771 m/s², which is more than double the acceleration of the car had 3 weights on it. When an extra 804.2 grams of weight was added to the car, the acceleration decreased by 0.4655 m/s². The evidence provided by the experiment proves that the more mass the object has, the more the acceleration will decrease, showing the direct relation between both mass and acceleration.
The following year the animals are having a very hard time with the work, and get less food. As Napoleon grows more powerful, he is seen in public less often. There's now a poem about Napoleon. Napoleon schemes to sell a pile of timber to Frederick. Napoleon sells the pile of timber to Frederick, who tries to pay with a check. Napoleon, however, demands cash, which he receives, and soon learns that Frederick's banknotes are forgeries. The next morning, Frederick and 14 men arrive at Animal Farm and attempt to take it by force. the men blow up the windmill. This battle will be called "The Battle of the Windmill." A few days later, the pigs discover a case of whisky in Jones' cellar. After drinking too much of it, Napoleon fears he is dying and
Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout refused to ever take the garbage out. She let the garbage get so big that her dad just had to scream,
On more than one occasion, she uses her natural ability to help get the trio out of sticky situations, such as the altercation with Auntie M (AKA Medusa) by using a gazing balls reflective surface: “'A polished shield would be better.' She studied the sphere critically. ' The convexity will cause some distortion. The reflection's size should be off by a factor of-' 'Would you speak English?' 'I am!'
A body landed on top of her and it had the ugliest face she had ever seen. It had bright mauve skin and bloodshot eyes. Then as she stared into its face, it smiled to reveal a gummy grin. There was an obnoxious stench coming from its mouth, and when Clemmie took a whiff, it smelt of rotten...
My results from this experiment relate to known values of momentum as the results clearly demonstrate the affect of mass on the velocity of an object. My experiment proves Isaac Newtons third law of momentum to be correct, as the net force of a marble caused the acceleration of another marble. The distance the marble travelled depended on the net force, which in this experiment changed due to the different masses. When the mass of the marble was lighter, it had a decreased net force, causing it to have less momentum, as when it collided with the stationary marble the distance travelled was only 3.5cm. The marble containing the heaviest mass had a greater net force and impulse, affecting the change of momentum, as when the collision occurred the stationary marble had travelled 53cm.
As an observant sociology major at SUNY Potsdam, C.J. Rapp noticed that students were constantly concocting beverages designed to help them stay awake to finish term papers, complete research projects, or study for exams. In 1985, the student-turned-beverage-inventor unleashed Jolt Cola, not an energy drink but a high-caffeine, high-sugar brand of cola. At a time when beverage producers were promoting the idea that less is better - that they contained either zero or less caffeine, sugar, or calories - Rapp promoted his cola by emphasizing that it had twice the caffeine found in other colas. It pioneered a marketing strategy still widely in use by energy drink producers today, targeting a generally younger audience, mostly students and young
Okay everyone, here I have two trays. One has cups filled with water, and the others are filled with coke. Line up and grab whichever one you would like. (Wait for everyone to grab one and take a seat) Now I’d like to take a quick survey of the class. Put your hands up if you drink at least one soda a week, now keep them up for two, three (will do this till hands dwindle down to zero). Today I want to explore…
Problem: How does the increase mass affect acceleration and the force of the accelerating object?
What is a Non-newtonian matter? How does slime fall into this category? What are Newtonian matters? Newtonian matter is matter that follows Newton's law of Viscosity. Newton's law of Viscosity is the relationship between shear rate of a fluid subjected to a outer, physical stress and shear stress.
New particles are created in the collisions by circulating, by doing this it makes kinetic energy. When they collide with each kinetic energy, they could be inverted to be mass energy to higher mass particles to be created. Using particles in physics help with the mass energy. Without energy, molar mass would not be
He fell in a dirty, gloomy puddle that was full of glue. He saw a shoe, thought it was food. O’ little smurf he chewed and chewed.
