A person who starts a business is someone who assumes the financial risk of the initiation, the operation, and management of the business. ,“An entrepreneur is someone who organizes a business venture and assumes the risk for it”. (Define an Entrepreneur, Source: H) A person who has possession of a new enterprise, or “idea and assumes significant accountability for the inherent risks and the outcome” (Source: H) can be known as an entrepreneur. “The term is originally a loanword from French and was first defined by the Irish economist Richard Cantillon.” (Define an Entrepreneur, Source: H) “Entrepreneur in English is a term applied to the type of personality who is willing to take upon her
Entrepreneurs, individuals who come up with an plan in means of profit while knowing the risks that comes along. however, in adam smith time(1723-1790), the definition of an entrepreneur was different it was an “ individual purusing his or her own good to achieve the best good for all”. Those individuals led by the “invisible hand” would provide

An entrepreneur is someone who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise (Merriam-Webster, n.d). Some characteristics of an entrepreneur are, the willingness to work hard, the desire for responsibility and the confidence in their ability to succeed. The person that I chose to interview for this paper is, Adama Kuyateh.
An entrepreneur is someone who starts a business by organizing and having greater than normal financial risk in order to do so. There are many people who fit into being an entrepreneur. For example stores like Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Store, and any restaurant place. I will be looking at Eliza Pinckney as
Entrepreneurs are hard working, innovative people who enjoy taking risks. They accept their failures and work back up to success. When they fall hard to the ground, they rise back up to the top with another new invention. There are countless of thriving entrepreneurs in the world today. Two of the most well known entrepreneurs are Thomas Edison and Steve Jobs.
According to Jensen & Luthans (2006), entrepreneurial leaders are capable of identifying opportunities and gaining advantage. They also successfully manage the change and gain advantage. I discovered this characteristic within me through a business challenge that was organised by university in which I was studying. The challenge included proposing a business idea and I managed to propose the business idea focused on niche market. I was awarded with the second price in the challenge that further strengthens my belief of identifying the opportunities and taking advantage from them, which is also one of the characteristic of entrepreneurial leader.
Entrepreneurship is an attractive career choice. Most of people think of creating a new business, they think of beginning from scratch, developing your own idea and building the company from the ground up. But starting from scratch presents some distinct disadvantages, including the difficulty of building a customer base, marketing the new business, hiring employees and establishing cash flow, all without a track record or reputation to go on. Therefore, there are many decisions to be made before creating a new business (Rajiv Kumar, 2016).
Business owners run this world, besides older people. Entrepreneur have responsibilities like no other job in the american nation. They employ everybody no matter the field. “Owning a vision” is the motivation that runs an organization to its highest point in power, or to the dirty ground (5). If you have the power to vision, use the same power to create that vision. “Providing the proper resources and build a culture” is another primary responsibility of an entrepreneur and is key (5). Choosing the right people to run a business to create a culture will bring moral and heights to your company. “Good decisions deliver the company 's performance (5).” Life is full of decisions, and so being an entrepreneur is full of decision, good or bad, a choice needs to be made. While people work, entrepreneurs employ, which takes great responsibilities.
Entrepreneur is a person who establishes, owns or operates a business and is characterised by traits such as creativity, strong will, motivation, passion, determination, leadership qualities, work ethic and non-conformity. They are willing to take (non-excessive) risk in order to make a financial profit and are fully responsible for the outcomes. Their ideas are usually ground-breaking and innovative in their particular field.
An entrepreneur can be defined in many different ways but the one I think related to Walt Disney is “Someone who executes initiative by organising a centre to take benefit of an opportunity and as the decision maker, decides what, how and how much of a good or service will be produced. (1)
An entrepreneur is defined as a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so. Perhaps one of the most successful and admired entrepreneurs to this day is Oprah Winfrey. From TV-shows to movies, magazines, and books, she has managed to conquer it all and become one of the most well-known and powerful people in the entertainment industry.
Before looking at the challenges facing entrepreneurs, it is important to define who an entrepreneur is. Entrepreneurs are basically people who organize and operate businesses. They are commonly known as businessmen because they take the financial risk of running businesses.
An entrepreneur is someone with the capacity to lead a business to success and is willing to take the risks in order to accomplish their goals. (Dollonger, 2002). Starting a new business is an example of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs are very important in order for any business to succeed, however, only some entrepreneurs will succeed in life. Here are some of the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs.
While it may seem counterintuitive to strike out in a different direction and into unfamiliar territory, that trajectory puts one into a position of learning, being open-minded, and relying upon others for help. Those ingredients contribute to a recipe for entrepreneurial success because they force one to evaluate the entire business system from a new and fresh perspective. And they set the stage for working on the business without having to actually be physically in the business on a day-to-day basis. That premise of designing a business that works for its owner – rather than the owner working for it all the time – is vital for becoming a real entrepreneur versus becoming simply the most important employee of one’s own selfemployed venture. Those who understand that fact can rise to the next level of entrepreneurship. Level Two: The Managerial Perspective Those with a managerial outlook are often in a great position to succeed as entrepreneurs, expect for two big misconceptions that lead to massive problems. Many managers believe that if a business is not working, the solution lies in hiring more employees. They throw extra bodies at the problem, but this only aggravates the situation because it fails to address the underlying root cause of the difficulty or lack of profitability. Another
