The case involved procurement procedures conducted by the Agency of International Development (Open Jurist). The issue centered on exclusion of bids made by Birch & Davis International, Inc. Birch challenged the exclusion to the General Services Administration Board of Contract Appeals and they decided that the actions taken by the agency were fair. The case got to the Federal level when Birch appealed the decision by the board.

Irvine had a total urban population of 236,716 people in 2013, where 113,412 (47.9%) are males and 123,304 (52.1%) are females. The population has immensely increased by about 65.5% since 2013. The median age of Irvine residents is 34.8 years, which is quite similar to the California median age of 35.7 years. This reading will focus on two different areas of Baltimore City which are the Western district of Sandtown-Winchester and the Southwestern district of Irvington. According to the 2013 Censors Bureau, the population in Sandtown-Winchester totals 36,514 thousand and of that amount 16,732 are males and 19,782 are females. There was mix reactions regarding this case. In Barnes v. Glen Theatre Inc. (1991), the main argument to the ruling written by Justice William H. The customers of Dollar General come in all ages and both sexes, but the majority entering Imboden’s facility are women. Approximately 80-85 percent is female. The income level for the customers at this facility is from low-, middle, and fixed incomes. This was determined from observation and knowledge of the people entering the store. Most of the customers observed lived within a three to five mile radius of the store. Almost half, about 40-45 percent, of the visitors were over the age of 55 years. Furthermore, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (2011) says approximately one-fourth of the customer save a less than $20,000 per year income.

This information tells you that only 37% of the Caucasians were men. This tells you that men are less likely to be shopping in a mall than women. Most of the Caucasian men and women were in working outfits or were very dressed up which made me think that they have a very high job that acquires them to dress very professionally. With this information, this tells me that Caucasians are more likely to be coming to the mall after work and that they have more intelligent jobs. The average age for both the Caucasian men and women are approximately thirty-five. Out of the one hundred people that I observed, only 15% of them were Hispanic men or women. 60% of the Hispanic men or women were men meaning only 40% of them were women. This tells you that Hispanic men are somewhat more likely to come to the Monroe Mall then Hispanic women. 13% of all the Hispanic men and women were in their work outfits or dressed up professionally.
