Abstract
I will be constructing my research paper on the Fortune 500 Company Procter &Gamble, which is also known as P&G. I will explain the history of Procter & Gamble, which began with William Procter and James Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio in October of 1837. I will elaborate on the plethora of products such as cleaning agents and personal care products that allowed Procter & Gamble to become extremely profitable over the years and earning them fifteenth place on the “World’s Most Admired Companies” list. This will also suggest the wide array of individuals they consider their target market. I will also include their involvement in the production business. I will go into depth the changes they have made to better their company and the steps they have taken and plan to take in efforts for a better community. This is not only within the United States but internationally as well. I will also be discussing the controversies Procter & Gamble has had to face in such situations as price fixing, animal testing and the Logo myth that they have had to face. I have to continue my research on Procter & Gamble’s actual financial situation, statements and reports as well as who their substantial competitors are and the different advantages that would make one stand out from the other.
