Like many stereotypical and dramatic cinematic villains, Loki intends to gain unlimited power over humanity by using the Tesseract to attack Earth and eventually rule humanity as a benevolent god.
Iron Man ((Robert Downey Jr.) a narcissistic “genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist”), Captain America ((Chris Evans) a serum-injected super-soldier from 1943) The Hulk ((Mark Ruffalo) a gamma radiation exposed scientist that can transform into a “giant green rage monster”), The Black Widow ((Scarlett Johansson), a Russian spy and assassin), Hawkeye ((Jeremy Renner) an extraordinarily skilled archer), and Thor ((Chris Hemsworth), a hammer-wielding Norse god), join forces to stop Loki.
Although the movie may leave the viewer with a satisfied feeling by the end of the second after-credits scene, it is riddled with coincidences and unexplained occurrences. For example, Hawkeye’s trustworthy bow-and-quiver, equipped with grappling hooks, explosives, and even USB drives to hack into high-security government systems. The abstractness of some of the ammunition he possesses is clearly meant to simplify potential problems and bend to the will of the

After a few fights and arguments a group of strangers who now call themselves the guardians of the galaxy must defeat the evil war lord Ronan and protect the universe. To begin, Loki is a god, a giant, or both—his relation with the gods varies by source. A shape-shifter, he represents the pure spontaneity and constant change that has been known to both hurt and help the Aesir. He
He was played by actor James Spader. There were a couple differences between the comics and the movie. For example, the movie Ultron was created by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, whereas in the comics, he was created by Pym. Also, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver sided with Ultron. In the movie, Ultron had a very snarky attitude, like Tony Stark, and a very dark sense of humor. In the comics, he had no sense of humor at all. As with many superhero movies, the heroes won and the villain lost. Ultron ultimately died, after a brief conversation with the Vision about the future of the humans. Many critics thought that, like many other Marvel Cinematic Universe villains, Ultron died too quickly and had no time for character
Loki is known as the trickster god of Norse mythology and is even said to be one of the first anti-heroes. He is also probably one of the most well-known tricksters as well. In the Norse myths, he is often portrayed as being very mischievous and is always causing trouble for the gods. In fact, “he was so outrageously mischievous that he even sneaked his way into becoming a god” (Allen, and Saunders, par. 1). However, even though he almost always seems to be getting the gods into some kind of trouble, he also helps them at times in an attempt to get them out of their predicaments…even if those predicaments are his own fault to begin with.

B. Relevance: Have any of you seen a Spider-Man movie? What about Thor or Iron Man? Very few of us in this room can say we have not seen an action packed Marvel movie at least once. Since its humble beginnings in 1939, Marvel has revolutionized not only the comic book world, but also set the bar incredibly high for all potential superhero movies. What make a good movie are a good storyline and its ability to make people laugh, to entertain, as well as its ability to utilize its characters fully throughout the movie. Hence, from Thor: Ragnarok experience, in the Marvel universe the best movie is on that the director is left to do his work in the movie. Apparently, this has been evident in other movies such as the Guardian of the Galaxy, Iron man three as well as the first Avenger.

Loki 's relationship with the other gods is what obscures Loki’s motives. Loki is in a position to help both the gods and the giants, depending on which course of action is most pleasurable and advantageous to him at the time. Loki consistently takes great pleasure in fooling or insulting the Aesir, he is not shown as an outright evil god, mainly because his intentions are concealed by his position among the gods. Even his most malevolent moments can be seen as him slashing back at his tormentors, such as Baldur’s death, he was motivated by jealousy and hatred due to being figuratively shackled by the gods. However, during Ragnarok when the gods and giants engage in their ultimate struggle and the cosmos is destroyed, Loki joins the battle on the side of the giants. According the book, he even captains the ship Naglfar, “Nail Ship,” which brings many of the giants to their battle with the gods. (Pg # Ragnarok) What 's interesting is the ambiguity of the his reasoning for siding with the giants. It’s possible that he was titular piece in planning the god destruction, or his hand
