The seven deadly sins of management are commonly seen within many workplaces as they are exhibited by managers and employees on a daily basis. The seven deadly sins can bring both positive aspects as well as negative aspects.
The seven deadly sins are
• Greed
• Envy
• Pride
• Wrath
• Sloth
• Gluttony
• Lust

Greed
Greed in management is when managers or employees wish to achieve and get more than what they need. As greed starts to take over people start to compete against each other in the race for the increasing salaries and awards. In the end the winners feel more pressure to stay on top and the losers feel like well losers. To improve the teamwork the emphasis should be on the collaboration and not on competition.
People grow to dislike their work as they get greedy, reasons may include, that the work no longer aligns their abilities and interests. The environment no longer enables them to grow and develop. The management done by their leaders or managers is poor and are not entirely supportive to the employees.
