Despite big budgets and record entries in cinemas, some movies are just not as good as they are thought to be or as at least the expectations of the fans are. Among such movie is the Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Many have reviewed it positively based on its budget and popularity but whereas it might deserve such positive reviews, the fact that the movie is overrated is evident since there are many rip offs, poor cinematography and many other cinematic flaws.
To start with, having watched the whole sequel of the Star Wars. The Star Wars; the Force Awakens is one that embarrasses the most as it does nether live the hype it had during production nor improve where the previous episodes left. Apart from enhanced both video scenes and enhanced sound effects, the movies are more of a repetition of the earlier episode. As a matter of fact, the movie seems to lack originality and can hence be termed as one plagiarized from its predecessors.

However, this is not the case with the Star Wars: The Force Awakens episode as the filmmakers seem to miss the point of developing the personal journeys of the new movies lead. As a matter of fact, the scenes where Kylo and Rey are having their final battles are more less than developed since letting Rey defeat Kylo with a relative easy battle in more than one way demean the latter’s character who should have been given a more serious and hard to defeat role (Star Wars: The Force Awakens,
I know at times my wife and kids think that I am a bit out of control when it comes to Star Wars, but they have an understanding of what I am passionate about. My little girl had watched all first of the 6 episodes and even the 7th as well. I always try and watch the movies often, because I can never get enough of Star Wars. I was even born in the year the first one came out ( technically it is episode 4 New Hope) May 25th 1977.

Star Wars defined the modern Science-Fiction film, but still to inspiration from old fairy tales. The central character, Luke Skywalker, begins as a peasant, like many other fairy tale heroes (Jack and the Beanstalk, Sword in the Stone, etc.), and later meets an old Jedi/wizard named Obi-Wan Kenobi, similar to wizards from other fairy tales (Merlin, Balthazar, etc.), who moves the story forward and teaches the hero the ways of the force, which is as a stand in for fairy tale magic, Throughout the film, Lucas uses other elements from fairy tales, such as the damsel-in-distress of Princess Leia, and the evil kingdom of the Galactic Empire. Lucas clearly appreciates these fairy tales, the parallels aren't parodied or played for
Star Wars: The Force Awakens shows us something in an instant that took the franchise three movies to develop for Darth Vader. The struggle toward the dark side is not something that should be taken lightly. Instead of convicting Kylo as weak we should enjoy the journey that he has to under go to achieve his goals.

Star Wars was a breath of fresh air for most movie goers and gave families a chance to see a family friendly movie. This film has a lot of bleak and dark themes and content eg the burnt bodies of uncle Owen and aunt beru, that was fucked, through out the film but it manages to
A directors cut, is a specified edit of a version of a film (or video game, music video, etc.) that is suppose to represent a vision closer to that of the director. In 2004, director George Lucas had an interview with Associated Press, and states that the Star Wars series only represented “25 or 30 per cent” of what he wanted it to be. In the following paragraphs, I will show you how editing scenes differently can and will change the outlook of characters and the story of Star Wars IV: A New Hope.
Much of the Star Wars ' credibility and popularity is owed to the richness of its fictional world as defined by writer/director George Lucas. In an interview, Lucas states that the original idea for Star Wars was modelled on the movies of his childhood, The “Flash Gordon movie serials and Edgar Rice Burroughs’ John Carter of Mars Series of books.” The mise-en-scène in Star Wars plays a vitally important role, so the question explored in this essay is how the use of mise-en-scène adds depth to the themes in Star Wars: Episode IV—A New Hope (1977), paying particular attention to ‘good versus evil’. This theme stands out in because it speaks to one of the oldest struggles of all, the battle between right and wrong.

While Clone Wars focused on physical and character development, while also having a longer series, Rebels prefers to stay where they are comfortable and move at a fast pace in an episode, thus ending the series faster. In some ways their differences help grow their popularity. The differences also show how Lucasfilm sometimes strays from normality and tries something new. Though they have different physical appearances, expectations, and they move at their own rate, they both easily please their intended audience with their characters and Star Wars relation. This shows how two items can be significantly different, but still be immensely
I will be considering that Star Wars appeals to many different people, proof of this is that it was released again in 1997 and still was groundbreaking to the millions of older viewers, also capturing the imagination of the younger generation. Sci-fi films are known to have
) Star Wars The Force Awakens is an awesome and very interesting movie. At the end of the movie I had a lot of questions, and I started thinking and creating theories that connect this movie with the first ones. This article describes a fan theory of the origins of Rey, which is a very interesting topic since no one knows the truth. Since I was a kid, I have been watching all the movies, and I loved them. It’s easy to compare how lonely Rey was in Jakku and how lonely Junior was in the Reservation (The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian). She left Jakku pursuing her dreams, she was sick of that place, she wanted to become stronger. The same with Junior, he wanted to have a better education succeed in his life, and have a better future, and he left the Reservation in order to achieve that. After thinking and searching for other fan theories, I still have no clues of some things about the movie like: Who is Rey’s father? Who is Supreme Leader Snoke?
