“A devastating oil spill, 40,000 penguins and the humans that saved their lives” (Tarshish 15). The oil spilt from ships is toxic to the penguins. If people are not fast enough penguins could lose their lives. “The Amazing Penguin Rescue” and “Saving Penguins, One Sweater At A Time” have many similarities and differences such as conflict and the solution to helping the penguins.
Mr Popper's Penguins was published in 1938 by not one but two authors Richard and Florence Atwater. Richard started the book but fell ill and could not finish the book and the book was soon finished by his wife Florence so the ending is a bit weird. Decades later in 2011 Mark waters created a movie but went a little off track but created a awesome film non the less they recreated the book with the original drawings and adding a little still scenes from the movie resulting in a old fashion/modern book.
Like an artist’s palette is full of different colors, I am individual with many different interests, hobbies, personalities, and abilities. My personalities are as bold as a bright yellow. My hobbies and interests are all similar shades of each other, and my abilities are united like one streak of paint. All these colors combine on one canvas to create me, Srivinay Tummarakota.
The articles from Lauren Tarshis and Dyan deNapoli and the video all describe penguin rescue efforts after the oil spill. The article "The Amazing Penguin Rescue" by Lauren Tarshis the main idea is that oil spills can cause lots of problems to the animals like the African Penguin. The other piece of text "The Amazing Penguin Rescue" the main idea is oil spills can cause problems that are hard to complete. It also shows how hard it is to clean them from the sticky oil. Finally the video the main idea is that even if we try hard to help them their habitat will never be the same.
A composer depends entirely upon the nature of the film for all the clues needed to write a suitable score for a film. Brought into the production after a certain amount of film has been shot, the films concept will dictate how the composer will write the music. Whether based on the story line, or providing information by setting an atmospheric state, film music will always have different purposes between different films. Penguin Ballet by Nigel Westlake was composed to focuses upon the graceful, almost ballet like movements of the penguins underwater. Whereas, Writings on the wall by Sam Smith conveys ideas and messages which will be expressed throughout the film, especially through the use of lyrics. Although positioned within the film to provide contrasting messages, both these songs use similar musical elements to support the piece, and its position with the film. The discussion of this essay is that there are similarities between the musical elements that support the lyrics in a song and the action in a documentary. Through this, we will discuss the musical element’s of pitch, and timbre and texture.
A company called Rossum’s Universal Robots makes robots for the world, but Helena (The President's daughter) is trying to convince the robots to revolt against Domino's cruelty but ends up marrying him. 10 years later and barely anyone is giving birth to children anymore because robots can replace everything, so Helena burns the formula to create robots in hope that no more robots will be made an takeover the human race. The robots end up attacking the factory and kill everyone except Alquist thinking that he can find the robot formula again, a while later Alquist hasn't discovered the formula yet and he starts to fear oblivion as the robots only have a lifespan of 20-30 years. In the end, two robots named Primus and Helena fall in love and Alquist believes that they have souls so he tells them to go off and produce life, and then Alquist died feeling hopeful of the future.
Imagine a VEX Robotics Competition and I, as a middle schooler, finding my passion. Robotics quickly took over my life as I worked hard to carry my team to the VEX World Championships not once, but three times. I earned awards left and right. I often earned awards for the performance of our robot, design, and presenting maturely to the judges. I was passionate and talented. I had set my eyes on being an engineer and doing what I loved as I grew up.

On my visit to the Dunwoody campus, I could not wait to look around. I've been attending the Math and Science Academy for seven years. Even before my sixth grade year, I have always enjoyed constructing things, playing with building blocks, and making little robots. On the night of my sixth grade orientation, I visited my school to be and was surprised when I walked in the front door. I was greeted by an eight foot tall robot made by high school students. They were part of the program called For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST). I
It is my pleasure to recommend Kelly Rjoub for the masters of architecture program . I have known Kelly professionally and personally for the last 7 years as she has worked at Lori Gentile Interior Design. I run a plumbing and tile showroom who works closely with Kelly on the firm’s projects. Where Lori Gentile typically selects the fixtures, Kelly is the project manager and sees that the design is executed properly.

Given the level of experience I have accrued in my last 3 years both in Ghana and Uganda coupled with my strong academic achievement, I am confident that I have what it takes to carry out research and contribute effectively to the Civil Engineering Department of the North Dakota State University and subsequently match the academic standards set by the University.
I have diligently worked on all these projects to attain something new in Structural & Earthquake Engineering. Currently, all that is on my mind is Structural Engineering, and finding a new strategy to increase Structures’ capacity and their stability under different conditions. To improve their seismic performance, to decrease their damages when they are subjected to natural disasters, to decrease the cost of their damages, and their construction, to reach the most effective approach to construct, maintain and rehabilitate different structures, I have so much on my mind, so much to experience, and numerous approaches to try; A complete list of my research interests is enumerated on my
Throughout my high school life, my extracurricular involvement has helped me develop a variety of skills. Primarily, I have been a part of the Leadership and Peer Support group as a project manager of a conference; I exercised my leadership and collaborative skills. As an engineer, there are times where an individual with leadership and cooperative skills must rise and become the leader in different projects. Interpersonal skills play a significant role in an engineer’s life because they will always be required to communicate with new people. Earlier this year, a peer and I decided to start a Student Mentorship Program and as a co-founder of this group, I learned how to problem solve, make decisions, think laterally, and work as a team. As a student, my skills will allow me to accept challenges with confidence and contribute to discussions during lectures with new ideas. Teamwork, leadership, interpersonal and hands-on skills are key abilities engineers must contain in order to be successful.
The robot had been out for 24 hours now and already Jasper has lost his family from the explosions. All 4 of them were dead except for him. He was alone and the frigid night air had engulfed him in chills as he lay on the hard, burned ground. The robot….the robot was originally a government project. Then the AI nuclear robot went rogue, escaping the facility where the tests were being run and started blowing everything up across Dead Creek, Farem, the capital of the Government.
