The legendary fictional character Sherlock Holmes was constructed by a basis of a French criminal expert and a famous police investigator. He is known for his prowess in perception and analysis. On the other hand, Holmes sympathy towards people is near absent. Holmes loves to breakdown the story of each person he comes in contact with it. However, he does make a mistake occasionally. Although, there are many positive representations of Holmes, the Downey-Holmes is the best. The representations of Holmes in the BBC and CBS series are solid. Nonetheless, they have their drawbacks. Regarding love, he associates with Irene Adler. She is a criminal; yet, Downey-Holmes is in love with her. Adler works for Moriarty; a man who is just as brilliant and infinitely more devious than Downey-Holmes. Moriarty ends being the true antagonist, not Blackwood. Despite Adler working for Moriarty, Downey-Holmes doesn’t punish her in no way; demonstrating their feelings between them. Downey-Holmes has a love and hate friendship with Watson. They get in many arguments throughout the film. However, when it comes decisive moments; both of them have each other’s backs. For instance, at the experiment building; Watson had a knife aimed at his neck and was saved by Downey-Holmes. He can be selfish and rude at times; but at core, Downey-Holmes will do anything to save those he loves. Downey-Holmes is the clear, best depiction of Sherlock Holmes. Downey-Holmes has unmatched perception and persistence. Whereas, most individuals would withdraw from a challenging crime case. In fact, Downey-Holmes is a character that everyone can idolize.
