Lulu screamed in fright as she watched the spiders crawl up her legs. “What is this”, she screamed in terror.
Lulu ran across the street as the spiders were crawling up her legs, she didn't know what to do.
“Lulu, stop running and calm down,” yelled Uncle Cliff.
Lulu walked back over to Uncle Cliff and shook at the spiders off but, they were all till down the sidewalk. Lulu watched as all the spiders crawled down a path. She realized that they were leading to something. The spiders went straight up to the driveway of a house. The house had seemed very scary. From the outside, it seemed very sketchy and dark inside...a haunted house.
“Do you think this is a sign”, exclaimed Lulu in a very concerned voice.
“Maybe”.
Lulu decided to follow the spiders because something was telling her that she should.
“Are you sure you want to do this”, said Uncle Cliff.
Lulu was more than sure that she wanted to do this, she kept saying that she just has this feeling that she should. Lulu and Uncle Cliff took two steps into the house when they heard a noise. It was coming from the room to the left of them. Inside the room was a desk, and a lot of papers scattered across the floor. It looked as if it was an office, or was an office. The house had to of been abandoned though Lulu.
“What do you think that noise was”, asked Uncle Cliff in a concerned voice.
Lulu thought to herself for a minute.
“It was probably just something from outside or Sammy messing with us”,exclaimed Lulu.
They continued to walk through all the rooms in the house. Every room was dedicated to something. For example, one of the rooms was definitely a library because it had many shelves and was filled with books. All of the rooms had dust and cobwebs along them. Uncle Cliff kept hearing noises and wanted to leave but, Lulu just kept making excuses on reasons to stay. She wanted to stay and explore the house because it had seemed interesting to her.
“This place doesn't seem right Lulu, we should leave”, said Uncle Cliff.
“You can, I'm staying”, said Lulu in a sassy tone. She was starting to get annoyed by how many times Uncle Cliff kept asking if they could leave.
Uncle Cliff knew he could not leave Lulu in this environment all by herself so he decided to
It was getting later and later, and they were still in there “ What was that ” Diego asked Vanessa, but as he got no response he turned around, and Vanessa was nowhere to be spotted. “ Where is she!” asked Cesar “ I don’t know,” responded Diego, so they turned back heading the way they had came from looking for Vanessa, but she was nowhere to be found. As they kept walking, they could hear a dripping sound and every time they walked more and more it would get louder and louder. So they followed the noise, and as they did, they got terrified, and they started to tremble. So they stopped and sat in some old scourge dirty chairs that were thrown on the ground so they can calm down from the haunt that was happening, as they were sitting down they can smell an earthy, metallic smell all over. “ Cesar what is that behind you it looks strange,” questioned Diego and as Cesar turned to see what it was, it was a gory cadaver, so they ran out till where they had come in from forgetting about Vanessa and trying to ignore what they had seen. Cesar and Diego just continued to run for their life until they got to Diego house

During the next weeks, Elizabeth was plagued by the memories of her aunt’s face as she spoke of the missing girls, and told her friends of her suspicions, and they told her that the cellar was supposedly haunted, and dared her to go down and talk to the ghost, or whatever was down there.
Day after day, we would pass the mansion building on our way to and from school. Branches of vines and clusters of moss crawled up the sides of the building. I could see the paint, tearing off the walls. People for years have said the mansion building is haunted, but I don’t believe it. They say people have been possessed and killed there. Olivia, of course, believes every detail anyone tells him. To teach him a lesson, we decided to plan to spend the night in the mansion building this Saturday.
The article “Ghost Stories: There Was Something About My New House” by Hannah Betts, follows the author’s own paranormal encounter in her old home. Hannah and her family moved into a spacious Victorian manor that was always rumored to be haunted. Being skeptics, the Betts family decided to move into the house anyway. During their time in the manor, several smaller encounters, such as hearing footsteps and voices; which ultimately led to a ghost breaking a mirror, etching 666 into the shards of glass, and writing “I’m going to (explicit) kill you all” in blood. In her article, Betts uses pathos to appeal to the reader’s emotions by her use of tone and mood, the parts of speech, and foreshadowing.
“If you call them, you'd have to tell them where we are staying. How would Grandfather take his ‘perfect grandchild's’ lie? You promised my mother you’d look after me. You lied! I'm just having fun, something you couldn't do if it hit you in the face!” With a huff, Sarah twirled and ran into the bedroom.
He was now left alone in a familiar territory. All around the house, white sheets covered many artifacts that once entertained an audience. The house had a slight smoky odour, which tickled his nose. Although he tried to stay quiet, each step he took the floor creaked in response, probably due to the renovations the house was under.
