As being two revered warriors from completely opposite sides, General Armstrong Custer and Crazy Horse held very similar characteristics that ultimately made them tick. After doing some deep research on these two men it was almost complete fate that they met on the battlefield of Little Bighorn. To what I say that their lives were destined to go the way they did, so they would fight face to face. As for the paper goes these two men were brought up with completely different family scenarios that led them to the great warriors that they ended up being.

There is a common belief perpetuated through the sands of time that Ben Hall was born on a property named Breeza, situated on the Liverpool Plains, NSW, (the name of the current town) this is definitely not the case. The vast Breeza station was situated on the Mooki River (Mokai), and covered an area of 72 sq.m., Breeza would eventually be owned by Samuel Clift, but not until 1848. Most historical accounts comment that Benjamin Hall senior obtained worked as an overseer for Samuel Clift, the owner of Doona station through an advertisement prior to 1837. Unfortunately Doona was not purchased by Samuel Clift until 1837, from a Mr Joseph Merrick for £5 and a fat bullock. Research indicates that in 1841, there were a number of trespass cases where it was evidenced that Samuel Clift's aquisition of Doona was aquired from Joseph Merrick; "...it appeared from the evidence that the plaintiff had purchased the right of the run from a person named Merrick, in the year 1837, for £5 and a fat bullock...".

It is also believed to be one of the most unfair decisions made by the military because of the fact that it was extremely discriminatory to the Native Americans that lived in the region of the Black Hills in South Dakota. The rights of Native Americans has been an ongoing issue ever since the pilgrims started making their settlements on Indian land. Indians had finally had enough of the Americans taking their land and in June of 1876, a bloody battle took place that would never be forgotten.

The Battle of Little Bighorn is one of the most significant battles in American history. This is not because of the weaponry used, the casualties, or even the battle strategies. This is because the battle is one of the only big battles that Native Americans won against the U.S. military. After this battle, the Native American power in the West ended. Ironically, by winning the Battle of Little Bighorn, the Sioux and Cheyenne actually sped up the downfall of Native American power.
