The style of management and administration of an organization that can be viewed as efficient in most cases stems from a competent and effective management system. A competent system on the other hand is as a result of an effective organizational leadership. One of the key factors that contribute to effective and competent management and administration style is team building. To start with, team building is a term for various activities that are used to enhance social relations and define roles within teams and often involves collaborative tasks. The very first rule of team building is to lead a team effectively; the leader must therefore establish his leadership with each team member. The most effective team leaders seek to build their relationships with their juniors, relationships of trust and loyalty and loyalty rather than fear or the power of their positions. Every leader should act as a harmonizing influence, looking for chances to mediate and resolve minor disputes. He/she should also encourage trust and cooperation amongst the employees and also encourage them to share information. This way, the leader will be will be laying a foundation based on trust and proper communication within the organization and thus developing a healthy organization. Many organizations have their attention focused on making their clients happy that they often forget about their most valued asset who in this case is the employees.
