The Syrian Refugees Into America

The welcoming of numerous Syrian refugees into America is contentious, likely to cause or is causing an argument. It 's no secret that our President, Barack Obama, made a promise, a year ago, to bring in at least 10,000 Syrian refugees in the next fiscal year. Those who are all for it believe showing our morals, using non-government help, bettering our economy, adding to our diversity, and strengthening our alliance is what will come out of allowing them through. The opposers feel that the likelyhood of them being terrorists is to great, they will be too expensive, have to use our taxpaying dollars, could over populate, and push us away from potential job oppurtunities, that is why they shouldn 't be allowed here. Are you for it, or are you against it? If a woman and her young children were standing on your doorstep, tired and hungry, with no place to go, would you turn them away? I would at least offer them some water and allow them to rest their feet while I try to find them something more suitable, like a church. Of course, you could always send them packing but, if something were to happen to them, you 'd probably feel bad about it. By allowing these refugees, in obvious need, to settle here, we are seeing our countrys ' morals. Americas ' moral compass is exactly what us Americans want and need to see.
