The very first communication was the art of making persuasive speeches (rhetoric) and action recorded in the Judeo-Christian tradition found in the book of Genesis (the beginning). “When God begin creating the heavens and earth, the earth was at first a shapeless, chaotic mass with the Spirit of God brooding over the dark vapors. The God said “Let there be light” and light appeared. And God was pleased with it, and divided the light from the darkness. So he let it shine for a while, and then there was darkness again. He called the light “daytime”, and the darkness “nighttime.” Together they formed the first day.” (Gen. 1:1-6, Good News). After God had completed the heavens and earth, in Chapter 2:7 God formed a man from the dust and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and ma became a living creature. Then God said it was not good for man to be alone. God caused man to fall into a deep sleep and took one of his ribs and made the rib into a woman, and brought her to man. In the text, the first universal public speaker was God, and we find him advocating for order, truth, light, life and changing the nature of the universe by his Word. Truth spoke to the powers. By this very reaction, God ordained Himself to be the Voice for All People, but subsequently commissioned the service of humanity to “speak up for those who cannot and will not speak for themselves because of rejection. “ (Luke 10:16 ESV) The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you
