Global Warming
Introduction
The environmental situation in the world is worsening on a regular basis mostly due to the pollution caused by human-made activities. The global warming and climate change do not only affect people’s health and nature but also the economy forcing people to invent ways in order to reduce the negative impact of this natural catastrophe. This paper will describe the nature of global warming, as well as the basic causes and effects of this continuous rise of the Earth’s temperature and explain how people can stop this process contributing to the clean and safe planet not only for the present but also for the future generations.
Scientists all over the world are preoccupied with the problem of global warming

Global warming brings another serious problem, such as the climate change affecting people’s health and nature negatively. Although the change of the temperature in the world is moderate enabling individuals to adapt to these changes, people still feel these effects on their health and well-being, as not all persons bear extreme heat easily. Singer & Avery (2007) stated that “the Earth continually warms and cools, the cycle is undeniable, ancient, and global” (p. 2). The human activity only had speed up this process bringing much trouble to the environmental agencies and organizations working hard in order to stop this process in the world. So, the global warming many be considered the combination of the natural processes and human activities leading to devastating processes affecting people, ecosystems, climate, and sea levels. The effects of the global warming are more negative for the poor nations if compared with wealthier ones. The idea is that wealthy persons have air-conditioning and other facilities helping to escape heat while poor nations lack such resources being unable to afford modern and expensive facilities. The global temperature is now increasing at a fast rate if compared with the previous years, and scientists surely try to find the causes of this natural disaster connecting it with the human activity, the processes of the sun, etc. In case
Global warming or climate change is a worldwide issue and danger to our environment. Many countries throughout the world are working together to find a way to slow down the effects of climate change. Climate change can also affect the animal race as it takes away their natural habitat, which can lead them to extinction. Another leading source of the Global warming is carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. However, there are those who believe it’s a lie and is putting the planet in grave danger. Climate Change is a big issue that affects the people, environment and the world. If it does not stop now the result on the planet would be disastrous. Proper economic policies must be implemented to save the world from environmental and economic calamity.
Global warming is the environmental and social changes caused by emissions of greenhouse gases. Human activities have been the primary cause of this significant change, resulting with extreme weather conditions, increasing sea levels, and climate changes. In this paper I will compare and contrast natural versus anthropogenic climate changes of global warming, mitigation strategies, mitigation effectiveness, policy implications, costs, and address some policy changes to help stabilize global climate.
Climate change is a real problem facing our world with all of the progression of today’s society. The amount of Greenhouse Gas emissions has gone up drastically in the past one hundred years alone. The use of transportation, industry, electricity and the deprivation of the world's natural resources has increased the amount of Carbon Dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere. The Environmental Protection Agency has shown an increase in the Earth's temperature by 0.8 degrees C in the past century alone. It is proven that humans are the cause of global warming but it is not too late to change how we are.
Global warming is the steady heating of Earth’s land, oceans, and atmosphere caused primarily by human activity. Climate change is one of the world’s biggest challenges right now, from people actively arguing that it doesn’t exist- to other’s who don’t care enough to do anything about it. There’s evidence showing that climate change is happening and affecting our world now and from what it seems, if action isn’t taken, major consequences will soon arise. Most of the world’s land mass has experienced a 0.2-1.0 degree Celsius average temperature increase since the 1970s, the temperatures of the Artic has increased at almost twice the mean global rate. Climate change is caused by human factors such as greenhouse gases and ozone depletion and because humans are so dependent on fossil fuels in their day to day lives, the issue at hand is only going to get worse.
Global Warming is a type of physical reaction from man’s pollution and because of that it has a very big effect on the world. People are starting to feel the effect’s, such
Global warming is drastically changing the world’s climate, causing temperatures and sea levels to rise noticeably. Caused by the usage of greenhouse gases, global warming has brought about extensive controversy concerning its causes and even its existence. Although it is an issue of ongoing concern, many make no modifications in their daily lives. Global warming remains a substantial issue for the world's people, animals and the environment; its ill health effects, forced relocations and the killing off of the food sources combine to make it a widespread problem that requires immediate attention and action.
Soon after the new year began, 2014 was officially declared the hottest year on record. Perhaps this data would not be enough to indicate a trend on its own, but it is reported that the ten hottest years on record have all occurred after 1997 (Gillis 2015). This trend is alarming to scientists, as it confirms that the Earth is in fact warming on a global scale. As climate change continues, there are various problems that the world’s nations are going to have to address. As previously mentioned, climate change is already causing extreme weather deviations. As the temperature continues to rise, there will be more intense and frequent droughts, floods, hurricanes, and heat waves (National Wildlife Federation). Soon enough, people are going to have to start combating these effects of climate change and looking for new ways to protect themselves from the weather at its worst. Not only will severe weather deviations put people in more danger, but so will the bad effects on our health. Lack of clean water, impaired foods, amplified heat exposure, and accelerated spread of blood-transmitted diseases are all plausible risks associated with global warming (Bowen, Ebi, Friel, and McMichael 2013). These inevitable magnitudes of global warming are the root of what makes climate change a social
Global warming is and has been known as one of the largest and most challenging problems that pertains to the environment today. Around the world many are experiencing negative impacts on the daily, those from farmers to those living in more forest like environments. As the ecosystem becomes more and more devastated, awareness and prevention of climate change has never been more important. Many people doubt the existence of global warming, however its is clearly evident through the intensification of heat waves and the melting of ice caps.
Considering this statistic, “Since the last Ice Age ten thousand years ago, average global temperatures have risen about 9 degrees Fahrenheit. Over the last century, however, the pace of Global warming has accelerated, with temperatures worldwide increasing 1.3 degrees Fahrenheit in the last one hundred years(Global Warming). ”The earth’s population is about 7 billion, of the many people, a few are realizing the dramatic changes of the temperature and taking it into consideration. If nothing is done about the situation, it will only get worse . Although Global warming is controversial and people still deny the fact that it exists, there has been research that proves that this phenomenon is in fact happening.
Nowadays, global warming has increased dangerously in a way that affects every creature’s existence and health. On the one hand, there are the natural causes. Over the years there have been massive explosions from volcanoes which have affect the atmosphere and the temperature. Another problem is that the sea levels are rising worldwide because the ice is melting. To be exact, many cities are in danger of sinking because of that.
Within the last fifty years, global temperature has increased significantly faster than the past 650,000 years. In the next one hundred years, the global temperature is supposed to rise by three to nine degrees. This may not seem like such a big change however, with a rise in temperature, many negative consequences will being to show. Some of these consequences include but are not limited to destroying the O-zone, increase in disease, powerful weather disasters, rising sea levels, and overall decrease in health for all things living on Earth. If people do not become informed by the consequences of what they do every day, humans may no longer have a planet to call home.
In the beginning the earth was hot and pure lava, then it became covered with
The disasters of global warming struck the entire earth community. From the last century, our motherly earth rises 1 degree celsius on its average temperature (logos--Number and statics). People are having terrible heat stroke and other health problem like headache and fever. And according to World Health Organization in 2010, more than 135000000 people’s health suffered from this extreme misery from days to days (logos--Number and statics).
There is a serious situation is occurring on planet Earth that is causing a significant and harmful effect on communities, health, and the climate. It is Global Warming which can be defined as the constant heating of Earth 's surface, oceans and atmosphere. In order to understand global warming, the most important basic is to figure out how the of greenhouse effect plays an important part in its development. The greenhouse effect is caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) that trap heat in the atmosphere that keeps the Earth warm. The information this text will discuss is the meaning of global warming, the causes, and most importantly how citizens can help to rectify the situation. Humanity must tickle this problem immediately before the consequences increase and affect the entire planet.
“When taking the heating of the entire climate system into account, our planet has warmed at a rate equivalent to 4 Hiroshima atomic bomb detonations per second over the past 15 years” (Cook). Our planet is becoming warmer. When scientists add up all the heat warming the land, oceans, atmosphere, ice melting, earth is accumulating heat equivalent to four Hiroshima bombs worth of heat per second. Global warming is a serious issue faced by our world as there has been a significant increase in temperature over the years. But the article published by Dr. Mark Sircus on “Global Warming -largest science scandal in the history” refutes the theory of global warming. Dr. Sircus states that there is no linkage between carbon dioxide and temperature leading to global warming, the sea level is not rising, arctic sea ice extent is now higher and climate change is due to solar activity. Dr. Sircus also points out that that the recent weather changes are not in line with global warming and “we are in the beginning of a deep freeze” (Global Warming - Largest Science Scandal in US History). NASA and the scientific community states that global warming is not a hoax and there is a rapid increase in Earth’s average surface temperature due to greenhouse gases released as people burn fossils. NASA states that the “key indicators of global warming are based on surface, satellite, and ocean temperature measurements, satellite measurements of energy imbalance and of receding glaciers, sea ice, and
