Any "Top List" is always subjective, in my opinion. There will probably be people in my town of Johnson City, Tennessee, who will disagree with the top 3 coffee shops that I have chosen. However, I think that these three independent coffee shops, which are all quite different, are exceptionally good. Beasley 's Southern Bistro Beasley 's Southern Bistro, located at 2203 McKinley Road in Johnson City (locals will remember the building as the old Klopman Mills), moved from its location on South Roan Street. It also changed its style a bit. The "old" Beasley 's was known for its home cooking, which it still offers; however, they have also expanded the menu and added some unique sandwiches (including a lobster sub) and, of course, various types of coffees. My husband and I were frequent visitors to the Beasley 's on South Roan and have followed them to their new place. I loved their regular coffee at the old location. I adore their vanilla cappuccino at the new location. There is nothing better than Eggs Benedict for breakfast and a large cup of cappuccino. You can order other flavors and lattes, as well. In addition, when you first walk into the old Klopman Mills, you will notice that it is being turned into a large building full of dozens of spaces for offices or small retail establishments. Also, in the large entryway, Beasley 's has set up comfy couches and chairs in front of a large stone fireplace where you can enjoy your coffee if you choose to skip the wonderful

The purpose of this qualitative observational study is to uncover common characteristics and themes that are drawn individuals to visit and spend time in Starbucks cafes? Generally, people believe that Starbucks cafés are used as meeting places and remote workspaces to achieve productivity, while enjoying coffee. (Loudenback, 2016) Starbucks cafés over the years have spread throughout major U.S. cities and metropolitan areas. Through observation, the data will gather by documenting the activities, interactions, and reactions of participants (customers and staff) using rich thick descriptions to identify common themes or trends to understand the success of Starbucks cafés. The observation process used is largely investigative, where the researcher gradually makes sense of this social phenomenon by contrasting, comparing, replicating, cataloguing and classifying the objects of this study. (Creswell, 2013)
For my ethnography project, I decided to observe the Starbucks on Rockside Road in Independence, Ohio. My plan was to observe the subculture of Starbucks’ customers. A subculture is defined as a “structured social inequality or, more specifically, systematic inequalities between groups of people that arise as intended or unintended consequences of social processes and relationships.” My question was twofold. Does Starbucks appeal to certain social statuses? And if so, does Starbucks serve as another example of social inequality?

Tim’s Coffee Shoppe set up outside looks very appealing for customers to go inside and have a cup of coffee. When looking at the inside the atmosphere looks appealing for customers. The business is also open every day from 6am to 2am with a bus stop close to the business so it is easier to get too when not having a vehicle. Notice that the restaurant is located next to the college. With having a coffee shop next to a college this will mostly attract more college students and also with having live entertainment this should get more customers to come in. With the live entertainment I noticed that there is no time schedule to when the live entertainment is going to be at the restaurant it just states that the live
1. In the beginning, how was Starbucks different from other coffee options for coffee drinkers in the United States? What activities and assets did Starbucks leverage to differentiate itself from competitors?
I am interesting in talking about Starbuck, because many other food service companies also offer coffee and at a lower price. The average price that Starbucks offers is much expensive than other competitors, but a lot of people still like to purchase coffee from Starbucks.
A young girl sits in a coffee shop, one that is on the corner of a street in the city of New York. The girl seems to be around the age of 17, as indicated by her tumblr blog, which she just so happens to have conveniently sitting on her laptop in front of her. It's no surprise that she had previously been in Starbucks, but it seems to be that she enjoys the quietness of this coffee shop. She quickly gets up, leaving her Starbucks iced coffee on the wooden table with her laptop. The teenage girl seems kinda shy, as she quietly orders a chocolate chip muffin. The coffee shop barista seems rather outgoing, but is also little shy.
The elusive goal of customer satisfaction has long provided companies with endless headaches and difficult decisions. In the end, associating specific customer satisfaction metrics to company profit and loss would provide the undeniable proof needed to make changes, and then invest the required capital to address any concerns. Starbucks, not unlike the rest of the business world, has found itself in the same situation. However, more specifically, Starbucks must decide if a reinvestment of $40M annually in
