When a man expresses his feelings to the female character we often see the way that the male character views the woman and how it is often in a romantic affection towards the female. “Michelle” song written by Paul Mccartney and John Lennon, talks about this female character who he has feelings for, so to express his feelings he tells her through a song. The female character is assumed to speak French and that would be the reason that he can not tell her the way he feels. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, is a play excerpt written by William Shakespeare. At the capulet, Romeo sees Juliet and immediately falls in love and to express his feelings he says that Juliet is a beauty compared to all the other women. The male character in Michelle is trying to make the female character understand that he loves her but due to the language difference it is harder to tell her, yet even when knowing this he continues to be influenced to express his feelings. Similarity in the play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is conveyed to express how he view Juliet by saying “ So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows…”(The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. 1.5.48). When Romeo first lays eyes on Juliet he instantly has an attachment to her and only praises her beauty disregarding the other women in the room. He has this speech in where he is inspired to view her as perfect. Romeo exclaims “For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night.”(1.5.53). Before the capulet Romeo swore that he was in love with this other woman but then after he saw Juliet he had said that he had never saw true beauty until this night. Due to the fact that Romeo views Juliet as perfect and that he has this immediate attraction to her, he is inspired to tell her the truth and be honest with himself that he's never seen anything as beautiful as
