September 11, 2001 (herein referred to as 9/11) was a day in American history, which will be remembered as the most horrific attack on American soil. This attack, carried out by nineteen Islamic extremists, was associated with al-Qaeda, and involved the hijacking of four airplanes. Two of those airplanes were hijacked and flown directly into the World Trade Center in New York City, New York. The third plane’s target was the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and the fourth plane was brought down in Pennsylvania where it is believed the passengers aboard fought the hijackers. This horrific day in history cost over 3,000 people their lives, and was labeled the worst attack on American soil since the attack on Pearl Harbor during World War II.

September 11, 2001 evil struck the United States of America in the form of ruthless terrorism. Terrorism that was sent from a terrorist group called Al-Qaeda, and leader of Al-Qaeda Osama Bin Laden. On the morning of September 11, 2001 19 hijackers hijacked 4 fully flued commercial jet liners and deliberately crashed them in buildings around the east coast. Two planes crashed into both the south and north towers of the world center. Soon after, both towers collapsed to the ground killing over 2,000 people and injuring thousands more. In Washington D.C. a plane crashed into the pentagon killing 184 and injured dozens more. Sending fear throughout Washington D.C. of wondering where the next plane might hit dozens of buildings were evacuated

On September 11, 2001 terrorists apprehended 4 airplanes and committed the most heinous act in American history. They flew two planes into the world trade center, one into the Pentagon, and one crashed in a field in Pennsylvania crash killing more than three thousand American citizens. Since 9 /11many things have changed in America in relation to our national security.

Imagine turning on the TV one morning, and seeing two of the world's tallest towers being destroyed. That's what happened on September 11th 2001. 9/11, also known as the September 11th attacks, was where hijackers took over 4 planes and crashed them into the north and south world trade centers, and the pentagon. 9/11 left a lasting impact that was untouched by no one. Thousands of people died from these attacks, leaving scars in the hearts of people worldwide. New security procedures followed 9/11, along with stronger border protection. Moreover, more than a decade of war lasted with Afghanistan in the wake of 9/11.

The terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 shook up the lives of all Americans. On September 11, 2001, nineteen radicals who were associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda high jacked four airplanes with the intent to carry out terrorist attacks. Two airplanes went into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City killing over two thousand six hundred people. They also attacked the pentagon in Washington D.C killing over one hundred people, as well as a plane going down in Pennsylvania killing all people aboard the plane. Due to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, national security has improved dramatically with the intent of an increase of public safety.

On the morning of September 11, 2001 life as we know it in America changed forever. 19 men from a Muslim extremist organization known as al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes with the intent of killing thousands of Americans. Three of the four airplanes hit their targets, the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, the last plane was crashed into a field in rural Pennsylvania after the passengers tried to regain control. These attacks killed almost 3,000 people, injured over 6,000 others, and caused at least $10 billion in infrastructure and property damage. The man behind these attacks was a Saudi Arabian man named Osama bin Laden. These attacks caused mass panic throughout the world, but it also increased patriotism throughout the United States. It also is what got us into the Global War on Terror.

When the citizens of the United States went to bed on September 10th, 2001 they had no idea that the events the next day would change their lives in one way or another for the rest of their lives. September 11th began just like any other day but by the end of the day, almost 3,000 people died in four separate deliberate terrorist attacks against the United States. The events on September 11th had shocked the world, caused billions of dollars in damages and made Americans question their sense of security. The attacks on September 11th, conducted by the Islamic extremist group, al-Qaeda, was an important event in United States history because it was the deadliest and biggest terrorist attack on American soil and caused extensive death and destruction

On September 11, 2001 Flight Two planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. The planes where hijacked by 19 Al Qaeda terrorists that brought along their weapons , to many Americans the mention of 9/11 can be horrifying with the memories that they might have experienced that day with the site of the twin towers being brought down. Because of the hijacked planes, it destroyed many lives as well as the families that lost someone in that tragedy. The United States has changed since September 11th, 2001 because after new changes in airport security was made, deportation rose, and immigration decreased.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, an Islamic terrorist group known as al-Qaeda carried out a series of four attacks on the United States. The most well-known attack is when two commercial airline planes crashed into the Twin Towers in New York City. Many innocent lives were lost and families were torn apart. While many Americans were determined to show their resilience towards the attacks, this is a day many Americans will never forget. Although the attacks happened sixteen years ago, Americans are still dealing with the impacts these attacks have had on life in America. The 9/11 attacks have had several long-lasting effects on everyday life in America, some of which include an increase in airport security, a change in national security, and an increase the fear of terrorism.

On the clear day of the 11th of September 2001, Americans and citizens from other nations suffered a trauma that will be remembered for generations to come (Halliday 5). On September 11th al Qaeda terrorist under the command of Osama bin Laden hijacked two American Airline (AA) flights and two United Airline (UA) flights that would never again land. All of the planes that day would not go down without a fight. Although there were many heroic people that day, 9/11 ended as the worst terrorist attack in American history because of 19 men hijacking four planes that lead to 2,996 people dead (Statistic Brain).

September 11h of 2001 was the most terrifying and memorable day for Americans. This event shook the world because nobody would have ever expected these atrocious actions that happen that day. Two of those four planes crashed into the north and south tower called “The Twin Towers” located in New York. The remaining planes had two other goals. One of those planes crashed into the Pentagon (the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense) located in Arlington, Virginia. The final plane failed to crash into the White House because the passengers overcame the hijackers and made the plane crash into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. More than 2000 people died and 6000 thousand were injured. The events on September 11 made Americans hate the Islamic culture, causing the U.S. government to impose stricter requirements for immigration and making them fortify their defenses against terrorist groups

War Against Terror and Human Rights The Human Rights Act 1998 took full legal effect across the English and Welsh legal systems on October 2nd 1998. The Act, allows people to claim a number of the rights and freedoms that are set out in the European Convention on Human Rights. The Government had high hopes that when the act was passed it would create a 'Culture of Human Rights within the United Kingdom.'
