Women’s Rights Movement The equality women have today did not just happen over night.In this passage there will be evidence of an impowering fight that women over came to say WE ARE IMPORTANT TO!! All the brave strong women that fought this battle, along with the obstacles women still face today.Also the surprising fact that women’s rights also consists of racism and sexual orientation.This movement was necessary, and is truly an accomplishment in history. The first outbreak of confident women who had enough was in New York on July nineteenth and twentieth of 1848.The first Women 's Rights Convention took place at Wesleyan Chapel in Seneca Falls.There three hundred women and men gathered.Out of them sixty-eight women and thirty-two men signed the Declaration of Sentiments.In this Declaration it states all the sexist laws and the incorrect way women are seen and treated.Along with the rights women are intitaled to.Two weeks later the first National Womens Rights Movement took place,at Worcester Massachusetts in 1850.This convention had one thousand people and reapeated itsself anually.Women were detemined to change society. In may of 1869 Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony create the National Woman Suffrage Association.The main thing this Association was fighting for was women 's right to vote.Also later in November Henry Blackwell and Lucy Stone along with others make a Woman 's Suffrage Association.Then on December tenth Wyoming ratifies the first law for
