The female reproductive system is composed of the breasts and a number of systems in the lower torso. The ovaries are where a number of crucial things happen. The ovaries are two identical glands that are almond shaped, about one inch in length and located in the pelvic cavity. The ovaries produce the primary female hormones, estrogen and progesterone.
