I can reflect on Bilbo’s current mood that he wants to go travel more now then be home, in his little Hobbit hole.

They lead them to Elrond’s house, where Bilbo and Gandalf get some rest. When they continue on with the journey, they find gold, in which Bilbo and Gandalf decide to share. Right when they reach Bilbo’s house, they find most of the items missing and come on sale. Turns out that the town thought he died so they were selling his items, but Bilbo gets his items back and settles in.. Nothing is ever the same after that, his journey had left a humongous mark on
