In life a person will go through ups and downs, good times and bad times. When they are down or in a slump it may seem like the world is fighting them everyday; bearing down on them. Within these periods a person may start to lose hope and fear that life will not get any better for them. These periods do not indicate failure because it is only temporary because whenever life gets down it only means the future is due up to get back on track. If things are going bad now that means that times are due up for the better. In baseball, players experience slumps all of the time. This is not a bad thing failure happens all the time in baseball, sometimes this is a good thing for teams. If it is a close game and the next guy in the box has not had
Life has up's and down's but you can get through because people come together to help. For instance, in the book Fever, 1793, the Free African Society went around to help the yellow fever victims. The doctors thought the Africans were immune to the disease because hardly any Africans died. When people come together, like the Africans helping the victims, you can get through it. You can get through it when people come together, because everyone starts working together instead of avoiding the
Imagine having the perfect life- you get into all honors classes, you get straight A’s, you are the first chair in the orchestra, you get into the A Cappella choir, you are on the varsity volleyball team, President of the Student Council, and you have a perfect home life. You have never had to face a single obstacle throughout your journey in life. When your whole life is like this, you do not know what failure feels like and will never experience the need to rise up after a downfall. There are many types of journeys one can take in life and dealing with obstacles has a prodigious impact on the outcome. The obstacles and hindrances are the things that shape us as we experience the ups and downs in life.
There are many question about how the great game of baseball originally started and how it has grown to become Americas game that so many of us enjoy so much as little kids until till we die. Baseball is one of the only games today where the rules of the game have stayed the same since a guy named Abner Doubleday first evolved the game in 1845. Then he went on to be a Civil War hero shortly after as the game of Baseball became Americas beloved national pastime.
I remember the struggles I went through at the beginning of the season. I only had 4 hits in 10 games. I worked on my leg lift, my load, everything I could think of until something worked. Then, something clicked. I was reading a book on common problems hitters have and I realized I wasn’t seeing the ball. So, I went to the cage and just stood there for hours upon hours, observing baseball's go by, but not hitting them. Then, out of nowhere, I got two hits.
Sometimes in life, situations may knock you down to a breaking point of giving up. These situations can make you or break you; but whatever you chose the choice is yours. Challenging circumstances can make you feel as if the world is caving in on you. Moreover, you must learn to push through your trials and tribulations and get back up again. Life never said it would be easy, or challenging. You must continue to keep dreaming, and keep that hope alive within your heart, and strive to become a stronger solider for the next mountain that may come against you. In life, we will not always see good days. However, your good days should outweigh your bad days. As long as you have breath in your body, you will always win the battle that’s ahead of you. The story of Lolo Jones exemplifies this breaking point, and the discouragement she experienced to doubt her dreams.

When there is so much at stake in your baseball career, are you confident and strong enough with your pitch? Can you throw effectively? Is your throwing arm strong enough to endure long games?
The game of baseball is a very tactical game. When you get down never give up. There is always a chance you can comeback. It only takes one hit or one good play in the field to change the whole outcome of the game. Baseball is a game of mistakes. So learn from them. Don't ever blame it on your team mates because it is a team game and everyone makes mistakes just try to get better from them. “Every champion was once a contender that refused to give up” Rocky Balboa.
People experience failure on a regular basis. While failure is often viewed as a negative experience, failure also has the potential to teach us many important lessons. A memorable time I experienced failure was when I was cut from the baseball team my sophomore year. Baseball has been important to me throughout my life. I have always enjoyed playing, watching, and talking about baseball.
Baseball is a game of failure, whether it’s a win or a lose. There will always be failure no matter Just like how in baseball you make boneheaded mistakes, like drop an easy fly ball, miss a ground ball, and mostly with at bats for the game, in baseball there are plenty of chances to redeem yourself, just like with life sometimes. And the old known American spirit was to never give up or give in to your mistakes, learn from the mistakes and not to dwell on them. Second chances are all a
Once upon a time it was a warm and dark night when Jackie, Tammy was born. People say he was born with a bat in his hands in a farm on a couple of hay stacks. It all happened when a wind of dust hit the farm. “Swoosh” Then his parents heard a sound hit the floor. Before our eyes, flashed we saw Jackie, Tammy hit the perfect baseball ever. Then we saw Jackie, Tammy grow ten times bigger only at the age of 0 . Before he was even 10 years old, he was the tallest boy of all. When he was 10 he fought a bear and won .Then one day he went to the country town to sign up for baseball.
The most embarrassing baseball season in my life was in spring 2014. I played baseball for a decade when I decided to retire. I thought that I should end on the best season I have ever had because I’ve had already made up my mind that this season was going to be my last season. I played for North West in the junior division. There was only one other junior team, so we had to travel a lot for our games. I was probably the fifth or sixth best player on the team (I was a very average player). My team was not the best team in the league, but they were the worst. I think that we would have won a game, if we would have picked up our heads after the first lost.
I was in the field with Grampa collecting eggs to take over to Mr. Wilsons. All of a sudden we heard a gunshot. We weren’t surprised we knew it was Keet playing with his .22 rifle again. Then, we heard another shot. Grampa told me to take the eggs, me! I did not want to go over to Mr. Wilson’s at all. When I arrived at Mr. Wilson’s he was yelling at Keet and he took his rifle because his shots broke a window. Keet was crying like a baby. I left the eggs on the floor and ran, Lucky and Rufus the dogs chasing after me. Seconds later Keet burst out furious. I dove into the bushes to hide. Rufus sniffed out my hiding spot luckily Keet didn't see me. I went back home and found Kimi on the steps looking sad. To cheer her
When we see ourselves going through difficult times, we often fall into a depressed state were we don't know what to do anymore. Where we are lost in thought day in and day out. J.K. Rowling one of the biggest and most successful authors even went through this herself in many ways. Looking into the depths of her influence through the years we see what big lessons her triumph has taught her. We see in her writing and just the way she genuinely speaks about such difficulties, and we see how it represents her in many ways. Not only is it depression we go through sometimes, but that feeling of failure adds to it even more. Failure can mean many different things to many different people, it may mean giving up or another reason as to why we should
