Recognizing Aspects of Fear
We fear what we cannot see, we fear the unknown and it forces society to juristically change because it’s a part of human nature. In Lord of The Flies, by William Golding, Fear has been portrayed explicitly throughout, as fear is the source of conflicts within the boys, by affecting the nature and civilization on the island itself between the rivalry of Ralph and Jack and the through the decent into savagery causing fear to one another which had subsequently change the dynamic aspect within the group of boys. As the feud between Ralph and Jack escalated, Ralph was afraid of defeat and loss his temper towards Jack “You're a beast and a swine and a bloody, bloody thief!” (258) That proves that fear between two different perspectives can change the whole dynamic process that strive these main characters to achieve the greatest power and causing mighty defeat which fear is caused by. Being described as self judgement, is the source of maintaining knowledge and understanding. As fear is being the vast amount of harm and misconception.

Furthermore, Self identity plays a big role of what is being symbolized throughout this novel as it describes the certain characteristics that are being deconstructed and being modified that could morally effect the attitude of fear, with violence and destruction. As the boys are proceeded of being ferocious hunters, they naturally lose the sense of innocence that was apart of them earlier within the novel. Piggy represents the scientific aspect of civilization by using his words for making others understand the importance of rules and rescue.
