Tremaine Jenkins Reflection Paper 1 Theology 104 Due: Monday, February 10, 2014 LOVE (Luv) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Practical Application: Friend, Sister, Mother, Confidant, Daughter, Fiancé, and Child I am all of these things to the people around me, but God wants me to be this to everyone. Love is an action word. I am constantly telling people that I love them. I do not just tell them with my words; I also show them with my actions. Love is giving. I always tell people that if I have it then they have it. I will give my last to someone in need. That is what God expects of me. How can I say that I love Jesus and I have never seen His face, but I see men/women on Earth here suffering and I refuse to help? Love refers to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection to pleasure.
