Theodore Roosevelt’s contribution to the emerging environmental movement in the early twentieth century was a game changer. Roosevelt was the first president to first president to commit completely to the conserving the environment. Roosevelt cared enormously about the environment as he spent a majority of his time as a boy and man hiking, swimming, mountain climbing, hunting, and many other activities, which grew his love for the outdoors.
