Therapeutic Relief In Bobby Brown's My Prerogative

Bobby Brown has a lot to deal with, but it seems he has found some therapeutic relief while writing his memoirs. USA Today, October 13, 2015 reports that Bobby has been writing his “raw and unvarnished” thoughts down for his upcoming book "My Prerogative." The book is scheduled for publication in June 2016 by Dey Street Books, which is an imprint of HarperCollins publishing. Apparently, this book deal was made and signed just before his daughter Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub on January 31.

According to the Associated Press, Bobby said this book was written after Bobbi Kristina passed away on July 26. He refers to that time in his life “One of the most agonizing traumas” he has ever experienced. Bobby Brown’s book., according to Dey Street Books said that it will contain Bobby’s full life story and it will include his relationship and marriage with Whitney Houston. Bobby and Whitney were from 1992 to 2007, and together they had one daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

In the past, Bobby has had major difficulty from the Houston family, especially Cissy, the mother to Whitney Houston. Bobby Brown’s career started when he joined the R&B musical group, New Edition. He allegedly had to leave that group in 1986 because of his bad behavior. So he set out on his own and it wasn't until his second album "Don’t Be Cruel" in 1988 that launched him into stardom. It contained his hit singles "Girlfriend," "My Prerogative," "Humpin' Around," and "Every Little Step" The title of his book "My Prerogative" came from one of his hit singles from that album.
