The nonprofit organizations play a significant role in the society. The social life of human beings is quite dynamic and experiences endless challenges. For instance, health is among the major social challenges that the society faces. Therefore, if I were to start a non-profit organization, it would be a social health organization to help the vulnerable groups of people. The society is composed of people with varied financial capabilities, and therefore it is imperative to extend a helping hand to those in need (Hopkins, 2017). The assignment seeks to evaluate the primary purpose of establishing the hypothetical nonprofit organization, key stakeholders and their needs and expectations.
Non-government agencies have a specific role in our communities, and comprise of either individual organisations with specific issues, (eg. Heart disease, asthma) or whole populations, (eg. Aboriginals, people with HIV/AIDS). They offer specific knowledge, experience and access to individuals in need of assistance. These services are contracted out by the Government, but are funded both privately and by the government also. (Public Health in Australia 1998)
A non-governmental organization (NGO) is a non-profit group which can be organized on a local, national, or international level. The NGO I selected is Free the Children. The short form used to identify it is FTC. The purpose of the NGO is to free children from poverty, exploitation, and the notion that they are powerless to effect change. The co-founders are Craig Kielburg and Marc Kielburg. It was founded in Thornhill, Ontario in 1995. The head office is located at 233 Carlton Street Toronto, Ontario M5A2J2, Canada.
Business can divide to profit organization and nonprofit organization. In fact, the operation of non-profit organizations and businesses are required to produce the same benefits, but the difference is that non-profit organization is advocated for the organization of services and service content of the object of interest, which think alike often regarded as the main features of such organizations. Volunteer is one major program in nonprofit organization. In my business class, I joined in a volunteer program. Every Friday, I had to go to primary school teach students. Volunteers are employees in most nonprofit organization. Volunteers are very helpful. Volunteers work is a social welfare organization and responsibility. It based on the participation of behavior. I gain lots experiences in volunteer program because volunteers help people in welfare activities because I did not receive any remuneration, and to sacrifice their own free will engage in welfare, mental health and community development. In addition, it is an organization of altruistic behavior; I can help others or to the environment based on useful activities and can directly help others in various fields. Lastly, on the participation of the public, I have a good behavior and attitude of social responsibility in response to an act which is not asking for anything in. Volunteer to participate in voluntary activities, motivation. After this program, I become self-orientation, the participants focused

Over the years, the government has given more responsibility through subcontracts for nonprofits to carry out a range of services for communities. Consequently, nonprofits face major challenges in a constantly changing environment. This type of environment has created a battle amongst other nonprofits as they struggle to obtain similar resources. In this memorandum, the topic of strategy formulation in the not-for-profit area and its application to nonprofits are touched on.
Through a poststructural lens, the minimal services being implemented by the nonprofit sector is a way to demonstrate the ineffectiveness of the sector because it fails to address the root of the problem, meaning attacking the systems of knowledge that justifies the motive of nonprofits. Historically, the colonial legacies and the emergence of western democracy constructed a legal and socioeconomic structure which highlights the role of the non profit sphere as a form of repressive benevolence. Capitalism thrives off the control of wealth and social change, because of its ability to internalize the market as a mechanism to a solution. The nonprofit sector is a bureaucratic barrel which allows capitalism to replace the functions of the
The goal for non-profit organizations its to set up a demographic for the certain charity and to reach these demographics in a proper way in order to receive donations. The donors do not just donate to anyone. It is important for the organization to first have a good reputation and a good standing. There are many non-profit organizations that do not stay true

They argue that, many thinkers within the NGO world were mostly concerned with how these organizations would “adapt to the end of the funding boom and correct its adverse effects” yet the one major issue about the scope for introducing collective self-regulation of the organizational structure and procedures had largely been ignored. Hence corporate governance for NGOs attempt to describe how this scope could help solve some problems faced by NGOs in poor countries. The article was written in the late 1998 so perhaps some of these problems have since been addressed.
So how can that definition be taken in? Is a non-profit organization just a business trying to avoid paying taxes? That could be the case though let us delve a little deeper.
They are focusses around different areas such as health, education, jobs, welfare, etc. here we are going to restrict our discussion to role of NGO’s in the context of
The main purpose of commercial organization is to earn money for its owners. The NPOs can’t have owners, as this entity is intended to serve the population, and the law clearly defines that the property (with the concomitant extraction of private benefits) is incompatible with serving the public interest. ## So non-profit organization is the organization that has no profit as the main objective of its activity and doesn’t distribute the profits among the participants. This doesn’t mean that non-profit organizations can’t make money, but the money should go to public purposes for which organization was created. These funds can also be set aside for future programs or transferred to other organizations working for the benefit of society. In this way the NPOs can engage business activities: to produce goods and services, acquire and dispose of securities and property and non-property rights, participate in the economic companies and limited partnerships as an investor.
