The entrepreneurial competencies explain about entrepreneurs through their characteristics and qualities. This model is composed by Driessen (2005) that divided into six characteristics and three qualities. (van der Laan, Driessen & Zwart, 2011) Driessen & Zwart (1999) conducted the research to establish a “scanner” in order to measure elements of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial traits. (Ismail, Zain & Zulihar, 2015) The findings from past research showed that high score of these traits from successful entrepreneurs compared those who failed in their venture. It is shows what is necessary to develop entrepreneurial attitudes, the seven characteristics such as:
• Need for Achievement is performance-based which demand the greatest results. …show more content…

• Social Orientation is desires to own affiliation and socially well to enhancing and controlling networking as well as never neglecting in business view.
• Self-belief is self-efficacy known as “internal Locus of Control”, an individual that score high in this trait is determine success by themselves.
• Endurance is determination that even in challenging situation they will never give up to achieve their goal.
• Risk-taking propensity is the willingness to become risks taker and own capability to handle ambiguity circumstances.
The three qualities of competence model:
• Market awareness is capability to deliver demands from clients. Also able to recognize situation in current market both for clients and rivals.
• Creativity is the competency to recognize new opportunities that others unable to do so and often figure out ways to overcome any issues.
• Flexibility is the ability to adapt to any changes in new circumstances.
