Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all monotheistic faiths. The Qur’an says that Allah is the identical God that Jews and Christians praise. Muslims perceive Judaism and Christianity as religions that came beforehand, and led up to, Islam. Muslims consider Muhammad the last prophet in a line that contains figures from the Jewish and Christian traditions, such as Abraham and Jesus. Muslims are educated to respect Jews and Christians as individuals who share the tradition of God’s revelation to the prophets. Whether you are religious or not, it would very eye opening to see how these people were raised up, rather, what environment did they grow up in. What impact did their beliefs have on their houses, buildings etc.

Christianity is a monotheistic religion that uses the holy bible to guide Christian followers of God in a positive lifestyle. Christ has many symbols that depend on the branch one follows in Christianity. Three modern day main branches are Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant. In Homo Religiosus Armstrong states, sons are taken from their mothers and put in a ritual to exit childhood to enter manhood, but they would not choose to do this if they were never taught to; therefore, the repetitive rituals as a modern day child, one learns from one’s elders about the belief one has (38). If I could change something in the world, I would unite people of different political and religious backgrounds for a common cause - the betterment of mankind. The human condition is so messy, if we each accepted one another and learned to work together the world would be a better place.
Pi embraces all aspects of the three religions to give direction to his unorthodox life. Pi states, “A germ of religion exaltation, …, was sown in me and left to germinate. It has never stopped growing since that day (Martel 47).” Pi’s dedication towards three religion keeps on growing each day. Regardless of what the three devout religious figures complain about the weakness of each religion, Pi stayed true to his belief and claims he only wants to love God in spite of the difference between the three religions he believed in. Pi once again displays his infinite faith when faced with a life and death situation. When the Tsimtsum ship sank and he is deep in the water, he called the three supreme being of each religion and said, “Vishnu preserve
Islam, a monotheistic religion, means submitting one’s will to Allah’s will. When Allah created the Universe, He did not invite anyone to challenge His creation. Allah has a purpose for everything He creates, therefore He does not need to explain what He does to His creation. Allah has sent messengers to convey to the human kind what is legal and illegal for them. He gave His creation different abilities; however, He has given humans the ability to obey or disobey Him. Among the messengers that God has sent, one is Mohammed (PBUH). He was given the Quran, the Word of God, to disclose the commandments of Allah. Like any other prophet, Mohammed (PBUH) used his way to guide the world to the right path. The Quran is a revelation through Gabriel (PBUH) to the prophet Mohammed (PBUH). In the holy Quran, dogs are described as loyal, self-sacrificing, and devoted to their guardian. The loyalty of dogs makes them beneficial for protection, hunting, and detection of explosives and drugs; Nevertheless, Muslims cannot have any physical contact with them because of their impure saliva.
The three Abrahamic religions share not just the same Supreme Being but they also share several common themes. Many people view these three religions as separate entities but are more related than most people would expect.
