The observation taken for the first experiment where crackers were thrown to the gulls who had information about the resource that were coming is illustrated on fig.1. During the first round where both throwers throw equal amount of crackers at the same interval, there was high number of gulls foraging. As the resource keep coming the number of gulls foraging decreased and eventually stayed the same. The second and third part of the experiments were similar to the first one except for the second experiment thrower one, and for the last experiment thrower three threw five crackers every twenty seconds. According to fig.1 at the begging of both the experiments there were high number of foragers and eventually their number declined
Firstly, after considering the experiment 's raw data we can see that it does result in further flying birds than their predecessors. We can clearly see this through the gradual rise in the best average flight distance (cm) cleary presented in the line graph provided. This steady increase in data is a good representation of what
There was a bathos of birds that came down and raided the calm picnic and stole their food.
Every football team has a quarterback, but each teams quarterback may hold different responsibilities. The main objective for most every QB is to lead their team down the field to the end zone whether through their arm or legs, with some of the best being good at both passing and rushing. There are many moving parts that go into throwing a football and projection of the football as to the exact point that you want the ball caught. Thus what my science fair project will be over, the physics and movement behind throwing a football.
The lecture gave in a wildlife animal class is taking about some endangered species. The professor directs students to a discussion by letting them to look at the dwindling populations of migrating shorebirds and more about what scientists are doing to help them. They have a look at the Delaware Bay is one of the most important places many shore birds have stopped and lived here. The shore bird comes and leaves every spring and fall. In late May and early June, they gather on almost every beach along the Delaware Bay. Having so many birds assembled in one place cause a seeming that their numbers are fine, but actually it is a sort of deceiving. The professor considers a particular bird has received a lot of attention. That is a species of red
Description: Bean bag toss can be your best pastime, but only if you know how to find the perfect one for yourself. The following section will help you do just that.
The ideal habitats for N. kaiseri are water pools and waterfalls (). The pattern of habitat selection in N. kaiseri is characterized by high occurrence in sandy substrates. This is presumably due to high velocity of water at the inner parts of the stream channel (Sharifi and Assadian, 2004) Sharifi et al, 2008). Pools and streamlets where this species is found are covered with different algae. N. kaiseri feeds on most small invertebrates particularly insects and their larvae in nature habitat and can hunt its prey inside the water, outside the water, or on the surface of water Reyahi- Khoram et al, 2016). The common causes of death in reintroduction are related to human activity, diseases, aggressiveness from other individuals and starvation

The child I observed is in the third grade, she knew of me from the previous time I had visited to do my other observation. Her name is Mahren, she is eight years old, and as reported from her teacher she is slightly above the average student when it comes to academics. The setting I observed her in was loud and full of other students. I reminded the other students in the surrounding area to keep quiet and not help Mahren. I had a child video tape the interaction between Mahren and I. The lunchroom was full of older and younger students, and her friends were around her as I asked her questions and did activities related to Piaget’s theory. The method’s I used were the activity pertaining to the amount of liquid in one class related
Getting gulls attention was very easy at first when we start throwing food at them, they were very proactive forgers. During our first experiment both throwers were facing the birds so they can see that there is a lot of resource available. As time goes by the number of gulls foraging decreased (fig.1). The reason for decreased number of forgers can be because we were providing them with resource more than there need. Another observation that can support the above reasoning is there were more forgers around, when resource was passed at 20 sec interval. In comparison there were more foragers around when the gulls had little information about all the resources that were available for them. For the second experiment because throwers were facing
In the society, people interact and express their behaviors differently. Sometimes the personality of a person can be identified by different factors such as body language or facial expression. This field work observation report will give more details about individuals’ behavior. There were 10 people being observed from this field work. The first case was a woman who was on the conversation on the phone while sitting. It was 6:20 AM on Monday, Nov 7 in the ticket office of Lansdale train station. I was sitting in front of her. The woman looked around constantly during the conversation. In addition, whenever the door open, she always looked who is walking in. Sometimes she took a short breath, fondled her hair, and lifted her toes. The second
Have you ever wondered how Bouncy Balls are made or What make these products bouncy? It's the properties of polymers. Bouncy Balls have been my favorite toy forever. They use to be made of natural rubber. Now bouncing balls are made of polymers. You can use some basic chemistry to make your own bouncing ball at home. Materials made from polymers can be found in nature, and in your own home. The unique chemical of polymer materials can change by the amount of each ingredient used to make them. Once you have the basic technique down, you can change the recipe for the bouncy ball to see how the chemical reaction affects the bounciness of the ball, and other
Naturalistic observation is a great way to collect data and can be used in many studies. Naturalistic observation is focused on behavior that is documented in the participant’s natural environment. The key to this study is just simply observing the subject (Jackson, S. L. ,2014).
In 1970s, Eric Charnov's colleagues conducted an experiment on a small bird Parus major, based on the hypothesis proposed by Eric Charnov and Gordon Orions - that a forager's problem to gain maximum food efficiency, could be broken down into two problems . - what to eat and when to stop, and each could be described by a distinct economic model.
I spoke to L.C last night when she got home as discussed. I informed her that there are repercussions for her actions. At this point there is not guarantee that she will remain at the residence. She said that this is new for her and she really wants to stay here. She said her girlfriend is one of the supportive people in her life and she don’t want to jeopardize this relationship. She is aware of her actions and would like to make it up to you. I asked her if she is having trouble with quitting from smoking and she told me yes. I asked her if she smoked, and she said yes. Based on my observation LC seems to be having issues with reasoning. It seems as if she is under a lot of pressure and tends to resort to smoking to help her cope. I made
The economic characteristics that appeared for my home address were accurate compared to my observations. The population of people 16 years and older was divide somewhat equally between those who were in the labor force and who were not in the labor force which I expected it to be. At first, I didn’t understand the difference between people who were unemployed and people who were not in the labor force but as I further researched people who were not in the labor force are students and people who are retired. I found the percent of unemployment high which I also expected because of where I live in the Bronx. These numbers show how important public transportation is in the city, almost everyone takes the train and buses and sometime people with
