For example, for her Gold Award in Girl Scouts, the highest award, but it took Mikayla a long time to achieve it because she believed that she had all the time in the world. However, she did learn from that experience because now Mikayla will make events and reminders on her calendar to track her progress and complete work/goals in a timely fashion. Mikayla has a caring, motherly soul because she will put feelings of others before hers, and she will protect everyone and everything that she loves. She has been inquisitive since she was able to talk, ‘Why is the sky blue? What animal is that? Why is the grass green?’ She is a determined individual who is adamant on figuring out and improving the world.
