Tim Burton, 2 of his quotes “It’s good as an artist to always remember to see things in a new, weird way.” and the other is “Anybody with artistic ambitions is always trying to reconnect with the way they see things as a child.” These quotes from Tim Burton mean that he loves to create movies outside of adults imagination and refer to when he was little, also that anything is possible when you turn your mind into a kids or in a peculiar way. Tim Burton is a director that films movies that creates a tone and mood of fantasy outside of reality, the way he does this is using the stylistic techniques of music, camera shots, and lighting in the movie Charlie and The Chocolate Factory he uses these techniques to achieve the tone and mood of fantasy. The way Tim Burton used it to create thrills in all of his movies, especially Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. When they are first introduced to candy land it starts out like thrill, when they open the door and find themselves in a magical world the music changes to a more upbeat music and wonderes sound. The next one would be when Willy Wonka makes a flashback when to he was a child, it makes this sad, downbeat sound because he didn't had the best childhood, so when he remembers it makes the downbeat sounds of how sad it was. Lastly would be the part where Violet is starting to turn into a blueberry, it creates this sort of thrill, scary music because you don't know what going to happen to Violet, is she going to explode, die?
