Time To Shine
First time in a long time. We are in a championship game. The ballers of the game felt their names were out there. Being blessed to have an opportunity to become the best of the best. We are San Jose Unity. We unite as a family. We win as a unity. All of our fans are a community. We just an immunity that can’t be stopped. We are out here every hour of the day, every day of the week, every week of the month and every month of the year, putting in the work to only stay the best not be the best. Pain is only a weakness and we don’t get one. We only gain and train. With this, we will obtain the achievement of being the best. The ball starts bouncing, starts going to the hoop. The only thing you can hear is the ball touching the

Everyone says that education is most important. I agree, but I want to chase my dreams.
Hate Haters
Haters. We all have one. We don’t like them. It doesn 't matter who you are, we all have one even if you know you have one or you don 't. Haters always trying to pull you down, making you feel sad about yourself. Haters are never your friends more like imposters waiting to stab you in the back. Saying you can’t do something. For most people that bring them down, but I 'm not like most people. It encourages me to do better prove them that they are 100 percent completely wrong. Strangers acting like they know me, talking trash. “Hahaha your so trash stop playing basketball.” I know they are trying to bring me down, but now that bring me up, all the way to the top. Keep on hating is like feeding me energy making me much stronger and better. Keep on doing what I do the best I 'll become greater than ever. Maybe not a hater rather more than the devil itself is trying to kill you. So you have to kill him before he kills you first. I 'm not perfect, but you can expect that I will reject all of the negativity. At the end of the day all, you need to know is to put some respect in my name.
The Boss Acting like I was the man. Trying to be the boss. But I was still a little boy with a lunch box. Being friends with everyone, no beef with anyone
Education is so important to me because it determines my future. I worked hard to get to where i’m at
Education is important and plays a vital role in everyday life. Educating begins at birth. The demand for a higher education today is under demand and is always increasing. Self-improvement, endless job opportunities, and character development are all
On February 28, 2005, I experienced one of the most exciting events that anyone could ever experience – winning a State Championship. The day my soccer team made history is a day I’ll never forget. However it is not just that day we won the title, but the whole experience of the preceding season that got us there. From start to finish, my team’s 2004-2005 season taught me that the platitude is true. You can do anything you set your mind to.
School is my main priority because it means so much to me. Everyone should value there education and get all the knowledge while they can. Education is the most important part in your schooling because it leads to your success. Education holds the key to a successful future. Education can also help an individual to reach his/her life goals and dreams. The more education I receive the more choices and opportunities I will have. With an education, I have more options, which often lead to greater success and happiness in life. By going to college, I can choose what I want to do in life. A student will also be able to choose a career that interests them and that will enable them to achieve there dreams.
In 2016, more than ever, the team was committed to and had one goal of winning. One of our biggest rivals was St. John’s College High School (SJCHS). My doubles partner and I played the last match of the WCAC championships against SJCHS. During the season, SJCHS was one of the hardest competitors we faced but walking onto the court on the final day of championships, my partner and I knew we would fight and win. After 45 minutes, I hit an ace and we won the match that put us in the lead to win the championships. October 30, 2016 was the single most exciting and overwhelming day for the team all season. Everyone’s hard work paid off.
My passion for education has taken me far, but I want to continue learning after high school. A degree will not only increase job opportunities, as a college education can also improve your interpersonal skills and will allow you to network with a wide range of students, professors, and alumni. College is not solely important to me because of the statistics that prove how much more job security college graduates will have and how much more they will earn, as gaining a better understanding of important subjects taught in colleges is critical. College is important to
Education is key. My parents have always taught me that whatever you learn stays with you for the rest of your life. College is my aspiration. I want to attend a four year university to maintain a better lifestyle. I love learning new things; it’s like an addiction and you just want to absorb more knowledge. I witness my parents arrive home everyday tired because all they desire is to give me a better life. They want me to succeed and I have just opened my eyes and realized life is harder than I thought. My parents want the best for me and I want the best for myself which means if I try my best I can achieve my goal into making it into a four year university and graduating.
Education is extremely important to me because if you are not educated you will not be informed and won’t be able to have an opinion on things. College is the next step of life to me and finishing it will fulfill my ambition to be successful and prove my father wrong. Not only that make him change his way of thinking and untimely make him
Attending college and earning my degree is very important to me for a few big reasons. I know that the money should be the number one reason and although it is a good reason, it is not the most important. I need to show myself that I can do this. My whole life I have been told that I couldn’t do things. From far back as I can remember I was the one who didn’t have a future as anything. I need to do this for myself, to show me that I can do it. I do not need a man or anyone else to support me because I am smart and very capable. The next reason is to show my daughter, Aberdeen, that education is important. It doesn’t matter if you want to be a wife and stay at home mom, you never know what life is going to throw at you and you have to have
Passion and strategies in life will give a clearer path to success. Having a degree can either aid someone or obstruct someone on the
It is the first round of the Basketball State playoffs, and with eight seconds left, the talented Northwest team is down by three. The star point guard speed dribbles up the court, the tension on and off the court is immense, the pressure is even greater. Everyone during and prior to this game, had witnessed a season full of promise, and the consensus conclusion for most recognized this team as the best team to have ever come out Northwest High School. This was our best and likely only chance for success. So as the point guard puts the ball up, time nearly stops, it has a chance, but in like in life, the game of basketball is unforgiving, he misses. As most made their pre-conceived predictions of the future, or lack thereof, a young sophomore and his Junior Varsity teammates, inspired by our elders walking off the court, and the doubters going home, bonded together. Believing we were destined for something historical, and mythological outside our small circle thus a community was born. The 2016 Northwest Varsity Basketball team, the discourse community, where I developed relationships with people I call my brothers, a community which has shaped my work ethic, and has given me the knowledge of the amount of work it takes to be successful. Work which came in the efforts of a particular goal which at the time was unknown amongst teammates. To us the future was still a mystery, a mystery in which we knew would outline some kind of success.
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."-Nelson Mandela. With the right education you can do pretty much everything. Education helps us build opinions and have points of view on things in life. It helps us tell the right from wrong, since it is so important to have an education it is possible to get a scholarship to any college if you work hard enough. A well paying job, a good social reputation are some of the benefits of being an educated person. You need education (at least some) for a promising and secure future and a stable
I’ve spent the last two days in this smelly old gym playing my heart out just to get to this point. It was all worth it though because now it’s time for the championship game against CNBA. Nothing matters but this moment right now. Our coach gives us a calm but stern pep talk to inform us on what's about to come. “ 1 2 3 stars” we break the huddle and reality hits me. The games about to begin, and my dreams are so much closer to becoming real.
Education has been a priority in my life since I realized that thing are not just given to people. Being the first to have the opportunity to attend college is a huge honor. It is a challenge to motivate yourself to love learning and understand the importance of hard work although, I appreciate my guardians for pushing me and dedicating themselves to my human capitol.
So as kids we have been told that a good education is your most important goal to reach
