Dante when to tell on Timmy and so the siblings mom called for Timmy and she asked Timmy if he really hit Dante. Dante said he did and he told their mom that the only reason he hit Dante was because she took Timmy's phone and hacked his snap chat. Dante denied that she did that so their mom took Timmy's phone and looked at his snap chat story and saw pictures of Dante and Dante got in more trouble than Timmy because Dante lied while Timmy told the truth.

The people in Dante's second circle of hell all committed crimes regarding sexual desires. Whether it was falling in love for one, when being promised to another or simply cheating. These were all against the code of conduct and looked at as offences that landed them in hell. Another transgression was people who act out of sexual desire rather than doing what's right.
In Dante’s Inferno dante sees satan and see satan with three head and satan is trying to fly out of hell but his wing are making it where it is impossible to do so. Satan in the world now is known as the king of hell. Satan is different in this version of him. In our version he is the fallen angel from god and he looks like he has reds skin and has horns while the Dante version is like a big monster and is in his own prison and he is forced to eat so of the people that have went against god. In our version of satan he is cast of out heaven and rules the underworld and is the one that cause humans to be bad and make bad choices in life. In Dante version it seems that he is the one that is forced to have a punishment and pluto rules hades what
Timmy was scared out of his mind. Right now he is tied up in the dark closet downstairs. A few minutes ago he was going tell his parents to turn down the TV. But stopped when he noticed a group of toys standing. It was the toy he wanted and the rest of the set.
Dante places many figures of Greek mythology, Roman antiquity, and some political enemies in Hell. For some of these people his reasoning suits their punishment, for others it doesn’t, and for some we don’t know enough about them to verify their placement. Ulysses is placed in the eighth circle of Hell and in the eighth bolgia with the evil counselors for his acts in the Trojan War. Dante’s reasoning behind his placement was unjust and Ulysses does not deserve the punishment he eternally receives.
Actions that a person commits usually have some sort of consequence to follow them. If someone commits a good deed then they are rewarded. On the other hand, if someone commits a bad deed then they are punished. The punishment should reflect the sin in some way for that punishment to be just. Dante and Virgil go on a journey through the underworld and look at each circle. Each circle represents a different sin, and every soul that comes into Hell is told which circle to go to. Each circle also has it's own punishment or punishments. Each punishment in Dante's Inferno is just because each soul that experiences the punishment they deserve can see that eternity would have been easier if they did not commit the sins that they did. The sins and punishments that stick out the most to me are the ones about the gluttons and the wrathful. The souls punished for gluttony are punished in so many different ways and each way fairly reflects their sin. The fairness of the punishment for the souls that were filled with anger on Earth is not as easily seen, but it is the only
In the text, The Divine Comedy by Dante, the Inferno focuses on Dante’s personal journey through hell. Throughout Dante’s journey, he goes through the nine circles of hell. Dante was exposed to a lot of things that he’s never encountered such as limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, anger, and much more. These topics of the Inferno all correlate to my life as nursing student. I wouldn’t like to compare something that I am passionate about, however the process of becoming a nurse is very stressful. Dante finds himself wandering alone in a dark forest, wandering into a fearful place. Above, he sees a great hill that seems to offer him protection. As Dante climbs to the light, he encounters three angry beasts- a leopard, a lion, and a she-wolf which
The Development of Dante the Pilgrim in Inferno Perhaps the most interesting character in Dante’s Inferno is Dante the poet. A character who finds himself in a dark wood because of an undisclosed past sin and must journey through hell to escape. Although his character is somewhat undefined in the beginning of the text, his reactions and actions taken in the inferno slowly develop him into a character the audience can relate to.
Number three has a significant role throughout the whole comedy Inferno. The poem is written in a special form which contains exactly three lines. This can be related to Dante’s belief in a special power of the number three in Christian tradition. Also, number three has a significant meaning in the content of the comedy.
Following part II of my health behavior change, I will continue to discuss the frequency of my new exercising habits. Following this, I will discuss whether the strategies I proposed in part II improved my health behavior or not, and which one was the most successful. Next, I will discuss whether or not I think my health behavior change will last, and how my strategies and goal would change If I were to continue exercising long term. Lastly, I will apply two health behavior change concepts, while incorporating my attitude, cognitions, and strategies into those theories, and discuses the importance of these theories when one embarks on behavior change.
The Divine Comedy depicts the journey through Hell and into Heaven lead by the Italian poet, Dante Alighieri. The Devine Comedy is an epic poem set in the year 1300 and it details Dante’s trip through the afterlife. His journey is prompted by a spiritual crisis in midlife when he finds himself lost in the woods. The woods that Dante finds himself lost in represents a personal sense of confusion and darkness. This is the kind of symbolism that is seen throughout Dante’s long journey. The two major themes portrayed in this Epic Poem are justice, sin and punishment as well as love; both spiritual and human. Some may argue that the theme of justice is too harshly portrayed in the Inferno and that it could also be taken quite literally.
As Dante makes his ascent through hell and purgatory, he is guided by two figures. The first is Virgil, who saves him from peril and accompanies him, as a friend, through the layers of both afterlifes. The second is Beatrice, who inspired Dante’s journey of salvation in the first place, and who he longs to be reunited with. Yet although these guides are leading him towards God, Dante mistakes their guiding as the end itself. He makes a God of Beatrice, sees her as the ultimate good towards which one strives, and makes a Jesus of Virgil, the man through whom this ultimate good is reached. In this way, Dante creates his own trinity, much to the detriment of his ascent to the True God.
Once upon a time, and old woman found a peach on a river when she went there to wash clothes. She then took it home because she wanted to show it to her husband. At home, her husband wanted to eat the peach so he asked her to cut it in half. When she tried to cut it, a boy just came out of the peach. They were so surprised, but because they do not have a child, they considered the boy to be their child. They named him Momotaro.
