Becoming a licensed practical nurse is a rewarding job that allows a nurse to care for other people and it has a rewarding salary, while the disadvantages is the lack of sleep and the multiple hours that a nurse has to spend on his/her feet. Cathy Parker is a licensed practical nurse and also a clinical director at Bay Springs After Hours Clinic in Bay Springs,M.S. She has been a licensed practical nurse for twenty-eight years and a clinical director for thirteen years. Cathy has several reasons why she chose her career to be a licensed practical nurse. She says the main reason she chose to be a nurse is because one night at church a little boy had cut his arm and as she bandaged him up God called her to be a nurse. Her second reason she became a nurse is her love for people and wanting to see others properly cared for. As she cared for her elderly grandmother when she was a teenager it made her feel helpful to see someone smile while being cared for. Her favorite part of her job is to see someone who has been in pain, smile after being cared for.

This paradise, I imagine, must be the complete opposite at home, what with being the middle child of a younger brother, Jonathan, and an older step brother, Chandlier, two cats, two dogs, a bunny, and two tropical animals called sugar gliders. This girl, who I thought I could read like an open book, proved to be very surprising and one of the friendliest people I know.
Would you run away from camp and roam the world freely having no idea what you’re doing if you were stranded on an island with a naked person of the opposite gender? Well, that’s what happened to two teens named Howie and Laura. Howie and Laura went to the same camp and were stranded on an island by the other kids there. On the island they were cold, naked, humiliated, and angry. They had been lied to and they wanted revenge, so they left camp and disappeared to make everyone worry and feel guilty about letting this happen to them. While they were away, they stole from and they lied to people they didn’t even know existed. Howie and Laura were immature and foolish, they stole clothes, food, and money. They lied about who they were and caused other

Throughout her life she was devoted to helping people in many different ways, spending much of her life doing different activities that involved helping people, most importantly slaves and their families. These were things she never had to do, but chose to do. She took it upon herself to spend her life doing this. One of the biggest things she devoted her life to was the underground railroad. She also helped to make big improvements for African Americans. This almost cost her, her life, but she kept going and helping. Without Laura Haviland's demanding work and dedication Michigan would not have made such drastic improvements as they did during this time. Laura worked her whole life to selflessly help so many different people in their current situations. Laura was a teacher,
Laura Dewey Bridgman was born on December 21, 1829, in Hanover, New Hampshire. Her parents were farmers in New England. This severe loss of senses made it difficult for Laura to communicate with her family and she soon forgot how to speak.
