Sean couldn’t believe how lost he felt. It seemed just yesterday he had been Sean Andrews, lawyer, age 31, and married to the beautiful Tina Simons, age 30. Sean could still remember how happy the days with Tina had been. The days had been full of sunshine and Tina’s laughter. Now those days were over. When she said that, something inside of me made me just snap. I charged at her fast and hard taking her down to the ground. Jacob's story's both inform us how powerful guilt can be, in both, there's story's someone dies and there is an extreme amount of guilt.
