My five greatest strengths are; empathy, consistency, relator, deliberative and discipline. After taking the test, it was very interesting because some of the strengths I found out that I had; I didn’t know I had them. I can relate to empathy because when I am talking to others, I can relate to what they are going through but not feel for them. I have found also that I get aggravated at times when some people just do their own things that are not registering into my mind. I would rather have it my own way. I have noticed that when I am working, I work better alone, and prefer to be solo when I have something to do that pertains to work, or school. A part that described relator, it made me laugh because I am always looking for something to do, whether it be something on the internet or grilling outside. When it comes to my personal life, I am very private. Some things I will tell others some things, no one knows about. I prefer it to be that way because sometimes I get tired of the questions and me having to explain myself. I am more of a person that will not tell someone else, that it is none of their business. I would rather listen more than talk. When it comes to school work or even work for a job, I always look for an easier way to work. As I have been taught by a manager, always work smarter not harder. It does seem that I do have an order for doing things and I do get frustrated when someone else comes along and tries to rearrange something or even
People have many different strengths in their lives. According to the strengthsfinder my top five five strength are input, harmony, maximize, communication, and responsibility. I will be utilizing my strengths in many different ways whether it's at work, home or school. While at work, home, or school I will use my input with making different decision. Utilizing input is very important for so many different reason.
Based on the Clifton Strengths Assessment my top five strengths are strategic, deliberative, learner, maximize and individualization. As an individual, I rarely look into my weakness. I believe that when your too focused on your weakness, you forget about your strengths. Everything the book said is true, and we need to take the time to look at our strengths and make it perfect. It is true that in this world or the school system, we are taught to look at our weakness and correct it so that we can become stronger in our life. This book brings out the truth that I longed to hear for a long time. Invariably, I hear my professor tell their students that for them success in life, they must practice and look at our weakness. This book proves it wrong because for us to become successful, we must stay to our strengths’ path.
Strengths Finder 2.0 identifies my top five strengths are adaptability, restorative, individualization, communication and strategic. I must use these strengths every day in my job and my home life. These strengths are apparent in all areas of my life both at work and home.
My second and third ranking strength were Empathy and Harmony. Out of all the strengths these are the two I feel really go hand-in-hand. “Empathy-You can see the sense of emotions of those around you. You can feel what they are feeling as though their feelings were your own. Intuitively, you are able to see the world through their eyes and share their perspective. You do not necessarily agree with each person’s perspective. You do not necessarily feel pity for each person’s predicament-this would be sympathy not empathy. You do not necessarily condone the choices each person makes, but you do understand. The instinctive ability to understand is powerful.” “Harmony-You look for areas of agreement. In your view there is little to be gained from conflict and friction, so you seek to hold them to a minimum. When you know people around you hold differing views, you try to find a common ground.” (PH.Ds, Clifton, O., Anderson, E., Schreiner, L., Pg 26) When I was still digesting my strengths out of all the top five listed these two I am most grateful for, and in my opinion will be the most useful not only in life, but also in the
There are strengths that I have yet to discover or recognized within myself. But, If I were to select only five strengths that I have recognized within myself, they would be: my strength of intuitiveness, the power of being a good listener, my willpower, the extreme organizational skills, and open-mindedness. All of the strengths depend on each other to thrive
Upon completion of the StrengthsFinder survey, I discovered that my five greatest strengths were Achiever, Discipline, Responsibility, Relator, and Competition. However, I was skeptical about the initial results until I read what each strength entails. I found most of the information given to be accurate. According to the description of those strengths, I discovered that I use them daily without realizing it.
My strengths are Ideation, Deliberation, Focus, Empathy, and Individualization. My top three strengths going in order are first: Individualization-I tailor my approach to each person and try to see how we can work better as a team. I enjoy peace and try to bring people together.
According to the Strengths Finder Survey which identified my top five strengths by analyzing my answers to the questions asked of me on a website they are as follows: Strategic, Deliberative, Context, Adaptability and Learner. Being employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee for fourteen years this has taught me how to use those strengths to my advantage and also to the company’s advantage.
According to Donald Clifton's StrengthsFinder survey (2006) my greatest strengths are identified as being: strategic, restorative, belief, futuristic, and responsibility. These five strengths have helped develop my career as a police officer and continue to shape my overall being.
Personally the top three strengths connect to me very perfectly. Perspective is a form of saying that I take a look of things in a broader point of view. Where everyone’s idea are taken into consideration to come up with a fair conclusion, or viewing a problem globally to define my answer. These past few years I have found a humble, peaceful, and positive perceptive of the human race and the earth itself. Meditation, rituals, and change of life style has embraced in me that my strength for spirituality stands as number 2 on the list. I cannot count the times I had to be strong not only for myself, but for my family. Bravery is a strength that helps me stay strong from all the obstacles thrown my way. According to “Level 5 leadership” by Jim Collins is described as Humility + Will = Level 5. "Level 5 leaders are a study in duality,
By taking the Strengths finder assessment I found my top five talents to be Restorative, Responsibility, Harmony, Relator, and Belief. I believe that I have had the opportunity to exemplify all of these talents in some aspect of my life from academics, positions I’ve held in organizations and lastly, the jobs I’ve taken on in the workforce. My strengths lie within the yellow and red quadrant and mainly are recognized in team related tasks.
Trying to decide what your personal strengths are, is hard. For myself, I have grown in my strengths, and I’ve experienced my weaknesses. My personal strengths consist of: positivity, encouragement, laughter, and love. I pick these four because I feel that I am truly strongest in these aspects of my life. Being positive is a big factor in everything I do. I always want to be happy and joyful; not only to display Christ in me, but to make others feel the way I do. I want others to appreciate life and to feel any kind of uplift in his or her spirt. Positivity plays into encouragement. I make it my goal to make others feel better about themselves. My goal coming into college was to learn and know every person(s) name that I got the chance to meet. Just taking a few minutes out of your day to truly get to know someone, is such a blessing. It not only blesses me in new friendships, but it also blesses others because they feel that someone genuinely cares about them. Laughter is another characteristic I strive to pour out onto others. I laugh at practically everything. I love to laugh, and I love to make people laugh. I’ve learned the importance of laughter, and I just want to make one person smile every day. Love is my last of the four attributes. Love is so important to me. I love creation (Trees, birds, squirrels), God, and I love people. I just want the love that God has given me, to pour out onto others. I want others to know that I love them. These are my personal strengths
I like to think I have many strengths. After review of my character/ personality test, I can see what they are. I am a task-oriented leader, which drives me to finish a project. I have a strong individual work ethic, which allows me to be responsible and not rely on others. I am good at building and leading
- I identify with my ability to keep my commitments - stick to your programs!
Responsibility to a task- I feel great responsibility to a given task and try to engage all available resources to complete it in time.
